During the episode ‘Anchors and Fruit’ , Sherri said it was a good thing the presidential rally took place in Butler rather than Homewood. Was it a good thing that a little girl lost her dad and a lady lost her husband at that rally, Sherri? Would you feel the same way if your brother would have been shot at an outdoor church event, and your mother would have been injured and in critical condition in the hospital? Time and time again Sherri defaults to tribal thinking anchored in where she’s from, in addition her race, rather than thinking of her place in the body of Christ. People were injured and died, and you have the gall to say, “If you’re from Pittsburgh that’s funny”??? To make matters worse, she justified her “comedic taste” rather than taking extreme ownership and saying, “I messed up, what I said on my personal Facebook page, and am now sharing with the listeners, was wrong. I’m sorry.” When are you gonna grow the eff up, Sherri? Your refusal to renew your mind according to Romans 12:2 is the reason why you are not married and why you “struggle” to lose your more than excess weight. What you’re not changing, you’re choosing. Brant, thank you for 12 years of lessons and growth. This show is no longer for me. I’ll continue to support CURE and read your books.

This isn’t my first five-star rating for this show bc they deserve ALL THE STARS ALL THE TIME. I’m convinced this podcast has actually saved my life several times over (no exaggeration). But I have some ideas. First, we need an album of Brant playing all the songs he’s written over the years. Proceeds could go to Cure, of course. Second, we need a compilation of all episodes that have ever been made - I want to hear the first four years of the show I didn’t get to hear (and Apple doesn’t make that easy). Proceeds to Cure again. Finally, I know how Brant feels about being on video, but I want to see vidcasts galore! I’ve been listening to Brant and Sheri since the days of Club Awesome with all of it’s nacho choices, stamp albums and J.R. Tolkien statue. I can honestly say that although these two are not licensed counselors they are truly balm for my soul. Thank you Dynamic Duo for being you. The world is a better place because of this Oddcast.

Often announced they are clumsy and not good at this stuff. You’ll find that they are as good as it gets when it comes to entertainment, education, meekness and encouragement. Just good old fashioned clean fun. And they truly feel like they’re your best friends! I don’t go a day without listening.

Misfits welcomed… even encouraged here. I learn something every time I listen. Could be something spiritual, something historical, a joke, something about human relations, living for the kingdom in this in between world, about the Bible… I listen again and again. I’m very disappointed when their lives get busy and they don’t do a podcast, but I just listen to older ones and that friend/learning/Jesus loving spot is filled.
