I love that it starts with the actual factuals of the movie, who’s in it, who made it etc… And then delivers on a concise movie review.

John is fun to listen to, he gets great information and I just love how he finds tons of great movies I am not familiar with and brings them to my attention. I feel like listening to this podcast makes my love of movies expand and grow even more.

Since I was a teenager I thought my friends and I were the only people that heard of, let alone saw, One Two Three. I love getting the actors bio as well as the movie summary. Can’t wait to listen to more. Hoping for all the William Powell & Myrna Loy movies. Also I would love for you to do The Postman.

Love the style of this program.. he has a soothing presentation, and likes the same films I like! I’d like to see him tackle some Hitchcock films..

I like his knowledge and opinions and enjoyed all the movies he reviewed which I hadn’t watched.

I love this podcast! John gives the lowdown on many classic films, and includes info on the stars. The podcasts are fairly short (20-30 minutes) and loads of fun. Highly recommended!

John is a great host with so much knowledge about classic films! Each episode is well prepared and goes in depth with talking about the film being reviewed!

All this guy does is tell you where he talked about all the cast on his other "reviews". Then he reads the entire plot from the internet and that's about it. Totally useless show... There is no snark to be found either. Totally lame

I love the way that John covers the actors and then refers back to other reviews that the actors were coverd in before going on to talk about actors he hasn't covered in other episodes. The plot discussion in in in depth and interesting. I'm hooked and have gone back over the past reviews.

These are nice, tight reviews with a personal viewpoint and lots of fun background information. Most of the movies are so old I haven’t seen them in years, although some are personal favorites that I watch often. It’s like re-encountering old friends who arrive escorted by a talking encyclopedia. This show is a real treasure.

I've been listening on and off for awhile now. The production and pacing keeps getting better and better. I like to think of it of a mashup of IMDB and TMZ for early Hollywood. It's fascinating how the actors, directors, etc.. interacted and worked together so much. The facts provided are excellent small talk conversation pieces, that'll have people thinking you are way smarter than you are (at least in my case). I recommend listening to the strings he creates on road trips where you can get a couple movies in a row and get the full story. I wonder if he'll take requests, maybe Aliens or Terminator 2?

I have been listening to the podcast since the beginning and I am really happy he improved the audio quality. I really like the “snarky” movie reviews. Nantan brings in a lot of cultural references and historical facts. It brings another dimension to movies that I have seen many times before and has made me watch movies I had previously ignored. I’m looking forward to the next podcast!

As someone who watched a lot of old movies with my father growing up, these podcasts were right up my alley. The interesting facts and tidbits about the movies, actors and crew make me want to watch them all over again!

Clever little podcast. It's fun to remember movies I watched when I was younger and go through them, almost as a little puzzle since each movie is somehow connected to the last. Very fun and the episodes can be listened to at any time, just sitting down with a little free time on a Sunday afternoon.
