brandyyleeBlue Buffalo Sponsored?!I loved this podcast … until I heard your sponsored by blue buffalo .. disgusting. Shame on you! The sad thing is …you know EXACTLY what I mean by this and YOU KNOW WHY I am baffled because you KNOW how terrible that food is … I don’t even need to give my reasons for how irate I am about someone so reputable and intelligent as you supports that “diet”. Money means more to you then the ramifications of promoting food that causes so many health conditions in pets. You support the Grain Free version too? Let’s feed that to all our golden retrievers!!! Cardiomyopathy isn’t a big deal when it comes profit … right? Sincerely, A disappointed LVT who believes in high standards in animal nutrition 🤛🏻

-
AmyAlvtThere has to be another way!Although I enjoy many of these mini educational lectures, I was appalled by the recent one on feline heart worm disease. They bought 50 cats slated for euthanasia from a shelter. You CANNOT tell me every one of those cats was not adoptable! They are killing more cats to study a disease than the disease kills! If 50 cats are slated for euthanasia, then that tells me we need to work harder on what is really killing cats! We need more TNR and foster programs. I would much rather the researchers take the slow road and get cats that are already recently deceased. We are all here because we care about dogs and cats. We should care about all dogs and cats, even the unfortunate ones who end up in a shelter. Shelters make money selling animals for biomedical research. It’s not right. Maybe we need a podcast on saving cats from shelters who sell them for research purposes.

TheNewJerseyDevilIndispensable Information! How Dr. Lee finds the time to do all that she does is absolutely beyond me! I went to one of her veterinary pearl lectures when AVMA hit Chicago and she squeezed in more valuable information in 30 minutes than I had absorbed in the entire first 4 hours of the day. An expert criticalist and toxicologist, she knows what questions need answering for practicing veterinarians. You can just hear how much she truly loves her work. We are lucky to have such a pioneer amongst us!
-
JanadallasAwesome!Thank you Vetgirl! Wonderful information in an easy format!
-
A young dvmOnly 4 starsI think this podcast is amazing, but often the sound mixing seems off. The intro music is too loud sometimes and not at the same volume as the speaker. Also at the end of many of the podcasts the last few seconds get cut off by the outro music. If this could be fixed I think it’d be 5 stars easily!
-
