    Good Show
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, can you review this game for Xbox series X?

Very funny, no complaints, one of the few game podcasts that have emotion without being obnoxious. If you recommend a game to review, they might. They put so much effort into each and every episode and keeps it really upbeat the entire time. I truly do love this podcast. And have you ever heard of Roboquest?

    Rad stuff
Love the mission, love to listen. Great show, site and effort! I don’t see Driver 2 ranked as of yet, so I’d like to nominate it.

    Best in depth gaming show
The hosts do their research and know the history of the games they're talking about, and they're always fun to listen to.
  • Quepisquepis
As many thumbs up as you have thumbs!
Utterly delightful show. Everyone on the cast is great and is very well-informed on the games discussed. I’ve found myself playing a bunch of games I’d otherwise never have known about after listening to episodes of the show, and I really appreciate when they share their personal histories and stories with the titles discussed.

    Informative & fun
The hosts do a great job on research, I’ve learned quite a bit about the original Wolfenstein from this (an episode I highly recommend). They don’t agree on every game or every point, but also don’t decline into name calling and talking over each other. I appreciate the enthusiasm and effort that the main & guest stars put in to this show.
  • SteveDaveToldMe
    Great show.
Love the show. Right up there with Retronauts. Look forward to it every week. I nominate Elden Ring.
  • Worgit
    Good Podcast
Pretty good show, I like getting opinions on random games. I nominate Weaponlord on SNES.
  • shinaramusha
    Great research on video games
But maybe need to expand researching subjects they talk about in relation to video games. Also some hosts get TOO LOUD about their opinions under the guise of a “lively conversation”. Please stop that. Less Australian guy.

Keep the hardcore gaming dream alive
I believe in y'all and your mighty quest to cover every kooky game ever made! Full steam ahead! Nominate The Spectre Files: Deathstalker for me too since y'all do great coverage of FMV games
  • StrawberrySys

    Best Gaming podcast ever
Been a huge fan of Hardcore gaming 101 since the early 00s, love their podcast, I sing their rap intro while driving to my white collar job every morning. I give a few expletives because thats what thugs do.

    A fun and Entertaining Show
I’ve been listening and subscribing For awhile now and have nothing bad to say. The hosts are entertaining, their combined knowledge can give interesting insights, and it’s fun to listen to the nostalgic content. If your a fan of old-school or new-school gaming give it a chance for 3-5 episode and I’m sure you’ll be hooked. Find the games you like on their ever growing list and at least skim through the games you know. I would really like them to do Moon Walker 1990 (arcade). The music, the sound FX, and robot Michael Jackson… how could you go wrong. Thanks for all the entertainment. =)

Best Gaming Podcast on the Net
HG101 is always entertaining to listen to in the car, or gaming, or even at work, I love hearing my favorite games get ranked, as well as hearing someone else’s take on said games. 10/10!
  • 不是一般地差劲
    Best show as always
Hi, love the show! I’d like you guys to review the game Apidya for the amiga, we need more bug shooters in the world. Thanks!

Great premise for a gaming podcast
Been listening to this podcast and subscribed to the Patreon for a few months now, it's been great especially to have a giant backlog of content I can queue up to listen to while sleep deprived while taking care of a newborn baby. The funnest part about the show is the arguements and jockeying for how to rank each game on the 100% scientificially accurate list of games. I'd like to nominate the game 'UnReal World' for the hosts to check out. It's a roguelike open-world survival game set in iron-age Finland. It's pretty unique as there are no real fantasy elements besides Finnish animist "magic". It can be pretty brutal as it has a pretty archaic UI, bears and raiders can mess you up easily, and the survival mechanisms can be harsh and unforgiving. It's made by a Finn, so of course there is an accurate simulation of saunas as well. It also holds the Guiness World Record for the game with the longest continuous support, having had new versions and updates regularly since 1992.

    Great show!
I would like to nominate Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (books 1-8)
  • Leebeejaylux
    Paper Mario on 64
Love the podcast! Working through the games I've played in some capacity and enjoying it. I'd love to see where you place Paper Mario on the 64, I recently replayed this game and although a simple and accessible turn-based RPG I am in love with the art style and charm it possesses. Thanks!! -Liam

    Great Show
A wonderful cast, and great work to get the historical background of games from the popular to the obscure. Highly recommend their Patreon for even more content. I’d like to nominate Vampire Survivors for the list, a game that has some of the greatest bang for your buck seen ever and already spawning a new genre of imitators.
  • 0ptimus__Prime
Great podcast, well thought out ranking
Great podcast and instead of arbitrarily ranking based on hype, the cast goes deep into what worked and what hindered the gameplay in comparison to other games. I would love to nominate the first Metroid Prime. With the release of the Remastered edition it really shows how ahead of the time the game was. I would say rank the Switch version as it has the quality of life updates to the controls that feel much more intuitive.

    Putting up this request again.
    Golden Sun 2, please.

Great show (Simpsons Hit and Run nom)
Hey awesome show guys, thanks for always giving the goods! Can you guys review and rank Simpsons Hit and Run (PS2 or GameCube, is there a difference?) Cheers have an awesome day!

    The Best Ever
This is the best podcast since ever. I would like to nominate Scooby-Doo! First Frights for the Nintendo Wii. My son and I loved to play this game when he was little. He's older now and driving me crazy. Like right now we are arguing about me picking him up from his friend's house. Its almost 11:00 PM!!! Ctrl+Shift+Arrow Key does not highlight words in this text editor. Keep up the good work.
  • Alix Sand Arr
    Love it!
I have an arcade that has about 2500 games on it. This podcast has been crucial in letting me decide what is worth my time and what to delete. Funny, well-informed. Love it. Okay... GAME NOMINEE!!! I'm going to offer the first 3 games my parents ever purchased for me (and let y'all decide which you'd like to cover). Muppets Studios Presents: You're The Director (on the View-Master Interactive Vision System), Rap Jam Vol. 1 (on SNES), and Ballz (on SNES). Given that these are not the most obvious games to buy for a 5 year old, I've always assumed my parents went out of their way to make me suffer haha.

A Podcast for People Who Love Gain Ground
This is my favorite Gain Ground fans podcast. Of all the Gain Ground podcasts, this is probably in the top 4. JK. I love this podcast. It feels like hanging out in a Web 2.0 forum of people who have memorized Apple Pippin game SKU numbers. It rules. If your brain is a black hole that absorbs game knowledge, you will feel amongst peers. Please play (my official nomination) the hit Platinum Games/Square Enix wunderkind Babylon’s Fall.
  • Neomrdna
    A great and fun show.
A very entertaining show. I enjoy hearing about games I have never played, hearing what the game is all about and what the hosts think about it. As well as hearing about a game I know well, fun to see where the hosts rank it compared to my thoughts. I would like to nominate Solar Warrior (arcade) for review.
  • From Hell04
    An exceptional video game podcast.
Video game nostalgia at its best, with some modern games mixed in for extra flavor. I would like to nominate Far Cry for PC :-)
  • A-dood-fo
    Passive aggressive nerds review games
If you like video games let alone anime, they’ll call you a neckbeard. But god forbid you release a fan translation that calls a Troon a Troon.
  • The LoveSauce
    Great show!
Great, in-depth reviews of video games. Love going through the old episodes. I’d like to nominate: Metroid Zero Mission
  • Tennis-5-Life
What a cool show! (Virtua Tennis)
You guys have the best gaming podcast, longtime listener! I’ll nominate Virtua Tennis for the Seeega Dreamcast. It’s the ultimate tennis game cos it’s so arcady, and all the dives haha. Thanks again!
  • yo-its-the-racer68
    Great show! (Beetle Adventure Racing)
Love the show, you guys always so informative and fun to listen to! I’d like to nominate a cool N64 racing game, Beetle Adventure Racing. The courses are all super long, adventurous, and have really well designed short cuts — and has 90s ‘tude! Thanks guys

    Top Notch
The show is well-produced, always containing great background information on each title, including various ports and related releases for each title. Great humor and sarcasm as well throughout.
  • Aladdynsane
    Good content; hosts to taste
I love the content but one of the hosts (Satanga? Excuse my spelling) is not for me.
  • KnightRune8388
    Great Gaming Podcast!
This podcast covers some amazing games! I love the format and love the tone. Check it out!
  • JurmyHurvy
    Every.Single.Game
This show should eventually cover every single video game, so I’m sure you’ll find an episode with your favorite game
  • MatWBT
    Hardcore yet Scrutable
A tie-in to the excellent Hardcore Gaming 101 website, the HG101 podcast dives into games both popular and obscure as it lectures and entertains those about gaming's past.
  • Listener ML
    Variety and depth!
The show has a great format that allows for both variety and depth. Don't skip the episodes on games you haven't played or heard of, you'll miss out!

    Amazing
Love it but how you rate games by their impact on the world of then by how well they play is very flawed like Tetris is that good
  • ReticulatingSplines2000
A great nostalgic look at gaming
I’m very happy to have found my “tribe” of fellow gamers with this podcast!

    Fun listen
I have been listening for years and enjoy everyone’s comments plus they all have pleasant voices! The scientific ratings are usually spot on and so are the snarky comments. Please rate Tomba! for PS1

Loved the heart attack y’all almost gave me. Ya actually got me for a hot minute.
  • awr-1
    Fantastic, In-depth
If you fatigue of the standard ‘single man talks about video game for an hour unchallenged’ format that is typically endemic to YouTube and are left wanting something more comparative of multiple perspectives - try out this podcast. I nominate Freelancer (2003, PC).
  • scott2122
    Awesome Podcast
I'm shocked that there are barely any Shining series games on here. Its a shame that SEGA had to ruin the franchise. I'd like to nominate Shining in the Darkness on the Genesis, a game i loved as a kid.
