These talks offer me a great reminder of why I practice zen and how it helps me be better I. Touch with my humanity.

I come home again and again, am reminded to touch ground, kiss earth, sit upright with the threefold Dharma realm of Suzuki Roshi: GreenTasSisco. Thank you for the Dharma.

Reb Anderson is interesting if you can take his style. My favorite zen teachers so far on podcasts are Norman Fischer on the everyday zen site (he's the best I think) Genjo Marinello on the Choboji Seattle zen site, Gil Fronsdal - a vipassana teacher who's also a zen priest. There's a few talks by Robert Aitken on the Sydney Zen site that are awesome.

As there are so few books on tape about Zen, I find this very helpful and enjoyable when I want to listen rather than read. I very much appreciate this podcast. Many bows!

2013 Ryus Jack Heller is outstanding!! The way he lays out this information builds on each other and gives a thorough understanding of the process as it unflolds through practice. I am much impressed.

I have to give this two stars. They got some gems of dharma talks here but really, the audio quality is hit or miss, mostly miss.

This podcast is a GREAT way to learn, first hand, from some of the best teachers of "American" Zen. With their emphasis on compassionate action and insight... It doesn't get much better than this. For thos who don't know about the Center, The San Francisco Zen Center was established in 1962 by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi (1904-1971) and his American students. Suzuki Roshi is known to countless readers as the author of the modern spiritual classic, "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind." These podcasts make accessible the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha as expressed in the Soto Zen tradition established by Dogen Zenji in 13th-century Japan and conveyed to us by Suzuki Roshi and other Buddhist teachers. These podcasts help us discover and realize that all beings are Buddha, and that sitting in meditation is itself the realization of Buddha nature, or enlightenment.
