tdk frappe loveNew favorite podcast! This is my new favorite podcast! I love the way the hosts geek out and share their personal stories and anecdotes. I have a lot of factors affecting my own birding journey, including social anxiety, grief and health issues. They make me feel like any level of birding I’m able to do on any given day can be me living my best life.

GdffshgxsghyddhI feel like they speak to my soulI’m a new birder, this year. I ran across the first few episodes shortly after they came out and I felt like they were written specifically for me! The hosts are fun, funny, engaging, down to earth and welcoming. They have great reminders to relax and enjoy birding and not always be on the hunt for your life list. I like how they weave topics of budget, race, birding with family, ethical birding building community, and more. I enjoy the podcast so much, I listen to the episodes more than once. I hope to build my birdinf community by me with people like them! Thanks for bringing so much joy to me!

CorvidcatmomThis is such a beautiful show.I got here via the recent ABA podcast episode, and I am smitten. The show’s name really says it all. The enthusiasm and thoughtful discussions are wonderful; I think the “Ethical Birding” episode should be required listening for everyone. Excited to see where the show goes in the future.

flybeagleJust great! Thanks for taking the time to do this show. Love the down to earth style so easy to listen too and lots to learn. It’s very relatable and and easy to digest for a begging bird nerd. One of my favorite things is the bird song that comes in the background noise whenever a bird is mentioned! It’s like a trigger that makes me smile and also helps strengthen my ID skills. Thanks again! Can’t wait for future episodes

Bombirdier1Pure JoyWow, just wow! Listening to you two obsess on birds, sharing your wonder & unmatched enthusiasm for birding makes me smile and laugh and tear up with the sweetness of it all. Your riff on the mockingbird singing you his whole album is brilliant! And thank you for being real about the potential dangers for BIPOC birders - I don’t like knowing it can be different for you than for me (white woman birder, 60’s) but it’s super important for me to know this & do all I can to help you feel welcome and safe in the field. 🐦⬛♥️

BrizheBirding done rightFinally a birder podcast for me, a BIPOC baby birder 😊. Congrats on the podcast! While there are other podcasts about bird watching this is the first podcast that talk in both causal and technical language that I can understand. Both Dexter and Jason bring a friendly down to earth aspect to birding that I love. I have listened to all the current episodes twice because it’s chucked full of useful information. Their casual and fun attitude around birds and birding makes you feel like you are about of the conversation, you hear their love and passion for birding in every word! Can’t wait for the next episode.

EgegikYou need this in your lifeThe passion and positive vibes were pulsing from the headphones…so much so, I even started to tear up, the bird joy was so real. These guys get it. Stopping the hustle of life to look and listen to the life around will make you a better human, and Dexter and Jason are the perfect prophets to share the gospel of birding to a weary America.

TimmyVeeeJoy indeedWhat an aptly named Podcast. I turned it on on my way home from a day of bird banding and I felt joy!
