Biased and Explains Nothing

I decided to give it a listen to get a perspective of the guilty argument instead of the innocent argument. There is no explaining WHY certain aspects destroy the defenses argument, he just talks about things completely irrelevant to the argument itself. He wants her to be guilty so bad. For example, in one episode, he is essentially claiming Karen is stupid and clueless for sitting smug and composed during a witness the defense called while it is supposedly “destroying” her case, yet barely includes any solid explanation of the evidence but does include extravagant detail surrounding the optics of the event of utilizing the witness. This is a joke, the second hand embarrassment here is strong. Suggestion to the podcast: Take a critical thinking course before continuing this series.

If you aren’t blinded by the insanity that is Free Karen Read you have found your podcast. Ignore the bad reviews by the people that choose to accept an absolutely illogical and idiotic conspiracy theory over real cold hard evidence. Tony tells it like it is and is funny while doing it.

Couple questions

If all of these people are lying, why wouldn’t they just lie better? Say they saw something, heard something, anything. When the defense asked them questions in the first trial there were times that they treated them like they WERE credible (like asking them about things they knew they didn’t witness)-if they’re lying, why wouldn’t they just lie about those things so the defense couldn’t earn any points? Also, why wouldn’t anyone who knows something crack after years and so much harassment? Last question, would you lie for someone the way all of these people are accused of doing? I wouldn’t, and I feel like you’d have to be a psychopath or a narcissist (some kind of cluster b, lack of empathy personality disorder) to agree to do it. Or under extreme duress I guess. I feel like it’s way more likely that there’s just one or two people with the personality disorder behind all of this, and I feel like I’m only noticing people under duress from people on Karen’s side.

There is no other way to explain how pathetic and biased this podcast is other than they are being paid by the real crooked cop killers and the crooked judge. You cannot be serious adult human beings with any logical bone in your body if you don’t see this sham of a trial for what it is. YIKES.

This podcast is garbage. The hosts completely disregard the indisputable facts of the case and rely solely on their own interpretation of her actions. They purport to want justice for John O'Keefe but really just want to scapegoat Karen Read while failing to consider an alternate, more nefarious circumstance that led to his death. JOK would want his actual killer brought to justice.

I believe there is a way to express your feelings about something without all of the foul language, and without insulting people who don’t share your views…. I listen to three different podcasts about the Karen Reed trial one that is overly biased in favor of Karen Reed one which comes from the local news station and is objective and down the middle and reports on what happens and then the third is this clown. He is so clearly biased against Karen Reed and yet on occasion tries to portray himself as open minded. He much like the guy who is biased in favor of Karen Reed Only sees things through one simple lens. I only listen to balance off the podcast that is so overtly in favor of Karen Reed as it interests me how people can be so one way and only see things with blinders on that fits their narrative. This guy is terrible

Only logical podcast about KR trial

Really a terrible podcast that posts some great content. Click bait titles and re-releasing material multiple times under different titles is awful. Also 10 minutes of adds at end are a pain and make you think you’re getting a decent 30 podcast when really only 15 minutes of content. HOWEVER!, it is the only podcast with logical thinking people talking about this case in some sort of sensical way. So thanks for that and keep it up.

And, like today, description says you’re discussing something with guest and it’s completely different topic or just a random slice of larger conversation. Then 8 min of ads. Her followers I believe are being paid so they don’t have to go to their jobs at Dunkin Donuts ie the pink shirts! “Justice For John O’Keefe” would be investigating those who were inside the house and have gone to great lengths to destroy evidence in the wake of John’s death. Tony Bruschi’s podcast is so detached from reality, it reads like some weird Pro Cop Fan Fiction. Zero journalistic integrity from Tony on this one. If listeners are only getting case related news from this podcast, their understanding of the case will be based on fantasy not facts.

Respectfully, We’re Watching Too

As someone who has been following the Karen Read trial closely—including watching the proceedings, listening to multiple podcasts (including this one), and researching the facts—I find it incredibly unfair and condescending for Jennifer Coffindaffer to claim that those in “Karen Read’s camp” are only relying on YouTube and drama. That kind of blanket statement discredits the many thoughtful, informed individuals who are making judgments based on the same evidence she is. Just because someone believes there may be a cover-up does not mean they aren’t critically evaluating the information. This kind of bias only undermines the credibility of the discussion. Listeners deserve more respect and balance, especially when the stakes are this high.

A painful listen

I’m not even a Karen Read fan and haven’t made up my mind on her guilt but this is NOT the place to get good recaps of the trial. I have listened to several podcasts and YouTube creators following the trial and this is by far the most biased and least credible. This guy is incredibly condescending and arrogant. He leaves out details and twists a lot of info to feed his bias. Honestly, he seems very hateful toward women. It was really jarring and odd to listen to after hearing a lot of people recapping by simply just delivering the details from the day without the immaturity that this guy used. I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to warn people like me who are just looking to get the facts. Most of what you get from this guy is arrogance.

While I agree there are waaaay too many ads, I just fast forward through them. Otherwise, this podcast is pretty entertaining. The host is definitely in the GUILTY camp but so am I so I’m fine with it. I agree with so many of the things he points out and I also enjoy listening to his guests. (Except Motta. He doesn’t take breath and forgets this isn’t his show!). If you think Karen is innocent, you definitely won’t like the podcast! 😆

I really like your podcast and coverage of the cases but why do you keep re-releasing the same episodes? I get excited when I see a new episode drop but it turns out to be the same one I’ve listened to like 3 times.
