I have such a good time listening to this podcast! I’ve been a fan of adventure games since I was a kid in the 90’s. Matt and Roses are such fun listening to talk about these games. You can tell they have a real passion and are entertaining to boot. Keep ‘em coming! :)

Peak podcast, I get unreasonably excited to hear each week's "ranking every adventure game ever whether we've played them or not" segment because they've all been correct so far

I haven’t listened to a podcast whose hosts seem to mesh so well with each other! I especially love the segment where they try to rank every adventure game of all time.

I didn’t know there were people out there who like the same types of games I do! This podcast was a chance find after I searched “Hobs Barrow” randomly, and I’m so glad I found it! Hosts are excellent and do just the right amount of deep dive into games. The recs are always great. Thanks for doing what you do!

A hilarious and informative deep dive on all things nerdy and adventurous. This podcast intelligently and cleverly scratches all the itches for those itchy adventure game aficionados. Hosted by two very charming people, their friendship really comes through their discussions and is only bolstered by their staggering knowledge of the subject. Bits, hilarious segments, and then out of nowhere a truly memorable guest or interview: this is a must listen for anybody interested in gaming. Could use some more Kings Quest commentary, but I’m sure that’s coming.

Matt and Roses are funny and charming. They offer engaging commentary on adventure games, old and new. Love having them on in the background as I go about life.

They give excellent reviews of classic & new adventure games. But if, as they have recently complained, they can’t seem to acquire new listeners…maybe they shouldn’t spend so much time on ignorant & reflexively-Progressive political ranting. Demanding ahistorical representations of historical settings, demanding purely positive representations of “sex-workers,” pointlessly sneering about the lives of politicians they don’t like, etc. Their blind hatred of their political opponents, coupled with the niche focus of their podcast, will sadly keep the podcast from growing.

Been a long time PUR fan and was happy to see her starting a podcast to talk about games. She and Matt have great chemistry and I love their in depth discussions about certain games or mechanics. One of the highlights of my week!

Matt and Roses have a fun and energetic way of talking about games (and miscellaneous side bits) that feels like catching up with a friendly, regular catch-up between game nerds. Always pleasant and entertaining, I look forward to hearing their unique insights. I was drawn to this podcast as a follower of PushungUpRoses YouTube channel since the classic adventure game reviews days, I was delighted with her “that time on Murder She Wrote” series as that show is a special memory of time spent with my grandma, an avid mystery fan. I was bemoaning how it would be agreeable if there was a way to get the type of witty banter and observations present in Roses YouTube videos more frequently, and this podcast suddenly appeared. I wasn’t previously familiar with Matt, but he is clearly a special boy who can jump high. A++

I think this has become one of my favorite podcasts even when it’s a more chill episode it’s still fun to listen to these two talk about what they love
