Solo Queue - A World of Warcraft Podcast

A now twice-monthly podcast about adventuring alone in the World of Warcraft! Host Dave Gagne shares his years in Azeroth steering clear of most group content for various reasons. Why do you fight alone? Even if you don’t, come for tips on solo play, diving into various aspects of WoW, and even finding your first steps into dungeon and raid content. Stay for the aural ambience, the drink of the month, and WoW news affecting solo players (and lately, the news is good). This podcast adventure is now in its second exciting year! Available on Apple, Spotify, Amazon/Audible, YouTube, Podbean, Goodpods, and many other podcast feeds. To contact, find @soloqueuewow on all socials and at Gmail. I’ll see you out there!

Casual players, this podcast is for you
This is the perfect podcast for the casual player who prefers to roam around WoW doing their own thing. Through Solo Queue I have learned multiple things about the game and have been given some great ideas on new ways to spend my time. Love it!

    A fun, rambling show
I’ve really enjoyed listening to this show. I love how different the perspective is on this one. Most WOW podcasts have the hosts talking about their heroic or mythic raiding teams and how they almost missed the time on their weekly M+10. Here is a show for folks who have a few hours here and there to explore the world. Also, he literally has bumpers for every segment and game reference. It’s a great show!

The podcast I didn’t know I was looking for.
I found this podcast after returning to World of Warcraft after an approximate 10 year hiatus. With the majority of my old favorite WoW podcasts no longer in regular production, I branched out. While the targeted audience is for single player activities in a massive multiplayer online game, the content is relevant to all players and content delivery is absolutely top notch. Audio quality rivals that of upper echelon professional casters, bumpers and ambient sounds are clear and fit perfectly. Voices are crystal clear and editing puts forth seamless transitions. I listen at a 1.5 speed, and everything flows together perfectly. Content is on point with topics, commentary is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and optimistic, without being a “fanboy”. The “Raid of the Moth” section gives players information on possible rewards and whether the time involved is worth the cost, and sometimes is replayed in real time, giving listeners a true representation of what to expect. The only knock I have on Solo Queue is the consistency of episode timing. Scheduled for monthly release, but not necessarily exactly on time actually makes the podcast more relatable and in turn more endearing. Real information from a real person dealing with real world life is actually refreshing. If you’re new to World of Warcraft, or like me returning after a lengthy absence, I can’t recommend Solo Queue enough. I gave it a shot on a whim, and within a week I binged the entire series on Spotify, listening to several episodes multiple times to share with my family. Great job, Mr. Gagne, I look forward to hearing more Solo Queue in the future.

    A fun and engaging podcast
Solo Queue is just like the growing number of WoW players who do their own thing, go at their own pace, and only occasionally join in with someone else. There is even a part to welcome brand new players to the game covering basics that veteran players take for granted. If you've ever stopped to read quest text, looked around at the scenery of a zone, or solo'd old raids, then you'll enjoy your time in the Solo Queue.
