I really like this podcast!!

I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for some interesting Hollywood history . The podcast is basically the history of WAMPAS and the WAMPAS Baby Stars . Over a 12 year existence there were 144 WAMPAS Baby Stars . This podcast pays heed to those 144 Baby Stars , giving each about a few minutes of attention . It’s interesting! The keystone of this whole podcast is Marg Craig the narrator. She has a wonderful voice and reads her copy with interesting changes in pitch that makes the podcast fun . It’s a delight that has brightened my day . Well done Ms Craig

The Old Movie Lady (but you can call her Marg) sheds light on a less known corner of movie history with some amusing snark along the way I especially appreciate when she calls out the casual sexism that many of these baby stars struggled with.

I’ve been supporting The Old Movie Lady for a while now, so I was very excited to hear this podcast. As expected, it’s absolutely wonderful!! Marg tells the stories of the WAMPAS Baby Stars with such respect and honor no matter who they were, it’s honestly a relief to hear women like them be treated as they all should’ve in life. I already know I’ll love the rest of this season! Definitely a watch!
