Drawing on her own experiences — from her 14-year relationship, 7 years of marriage, and unfriendly divorce — Punkie will take calls from listeners and give her honest opinions on their romance drama and situationship. As the self-proclaimed “Stephen A. Smith of Love Radio,” Punkie’s not afraid to check you and tell you what nobody else will. She doesn’t promise to solve anyone’s problems, but she will lend her most heartfelt (not to be confused with nice) advice. Punkie’s not afraid to get into the details and really dig into your sh*t – after all, she’s all about the drama.

    Equally yoked vs equally yolked
    In response to a listener who had more ambition than her paramour, Dicey quoted the Bible when she said “you must be equally yoked”, except then she said, “one can’t be scrambled and the other one poached” and I realized she had actually said “yolked”. AND THEN Y’ALL JUST MOVED ON. 😂 Warmly, Dr. NB P.S. The Bible verse was referring to oxen being unequally yoked and therefore pulling in an incompatible (and exhausting) way. New review/different episode: I would like to point out that in the “Is Punkie Tripping” segment the conflict was decorating the new house with a messy Puerto Ricana, yet Punkie forbade both white and loud colors. Unreasonable, Punkie. lol I hope y’all do another season of this show!

    Five Stars For Iyanla’s Advice
    I was uncomfortable listening to degrading and childish exchanges between Dycee and Punky (excuse my spelling of your names). I decided not to listen anymore until I saw that Iyanla was a guest and I knew there would be changes for the better. Sound advice was given. I’m looking forward to hearing that Punky has found safe spaces within herself and that Dycee has become master of her domain.
