♥Namtan♥Too Little ContentIt can be a bit cliché to complain about ads, but this may be one of the worst instances of them that I’ve experienced while listening to a podcast. I understand the need for podcasters to use ads, but their use here makes the podcast very annoying to listen to. The ads are several minutes long, while the content typically isn’t that long. Especially for the shorter episodes, the ads in combination with the introduction take up about the same amount of time as the content. The same ads will also play multiple times per one episode. It’s obnoxious. Otherwise, the audio quality and narration are good. The case is interesting, so the actual content could be longer and more in-depth. If you can handle skipping the ads it’s ok, but overall it’s not worth it from what I’ve listened to, unless you are very interested in the case and simply want to listen to as much content as you can.

User.2.0.2.3.Interesting story but way too many commercialsTerrible but interesting story. Not sure how anyone could do these things. Podcast could be really good but commercials that repeat at least twice make up list of the episodes which are super short.

AdaBluebirdUninformed and sensationalizedAs a clinical mental health professional, this episode was a joke an an insult to my intelligence. The length you dedicate to her psychology proves the point without even listening. Still, I listened and that is 12 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

irishfan84Interesting theoryI have no idea what UK hospitals do, but you are wrong about how US hospitals handle mortality cases. All US hospitals are accredited and certified by the Joint Commission. Beyond that, hospitals have quality committees who audit charts and report and track deaths and deteriorations. Hospitals also have to report their data to CMS. There are so many entities beyond the hospital that monitor and certify hospitals. There are hundreds of checks and balances to keep patients safe. It comes down to doctors and nurses reporting suspicious behavior or “coincidences” such as with the Letby case. If management would have listened to Dr Brearey at the beginning, she would have been stopped before killing or permanently harming many newborns. Instead of using your cohosts limited medical knowledge (she has none), get someone on who knows about these things.

Paganelli 4Too frustrating to bother listeningThe story is interesting. The narrator is good. The crazy short episodes that are literally more commercials than story. And as others said, yes, sometimes same commercial 3x in a row.

Listener924Not worth your timeCould be such an amazing podcast, but majorly falls short. Episodes are super short. 75% of the episode is commercials. Not new different commercials, but they will play the same one 3 times in a row! Some not even in English?! Was really excited for this podcast and it’s just frustrating and disappointing.
