Listened to three episodes and found Nicole’s comments re: nursing education and nursing instructors to be disturbing. It should be noted that her background is in psychology not education. She is also a salesperson-selling her tutoring packages (which she references throughout the episodes.) Having had decades of experience in nursing education, I find some of her comments troubling. No schools where I’ve taught ever told students to “go learn dosage calculations on your own.” Each school had a fundamental of nursing course in which this topic was covered extensively. It was also covered in subsequent nursing courses. Nicole painted instructors as being ill prepared to teach their topics, not keeping up to date with nursing practice, and per her tutees, not testing what they say they had studied. (It should be kept in mind that students who are seeking tutoring are probably having difficulty in school and are often looking for someone to blame.)

I really enjoyed Nicole’s podcast on how clear she is about your success in Nursing school. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for her tutoring. Her Silver Bullet study Method is being very helpful. Thanks Nicole and don’t discontinue your podcast please!

Im so glad you’re releasing new episodes! I’m still in my “pre-nursing” studies, but I still feel like I’m getting something from this. Even if it’s just various facts and study tips.

I’m a prenursing student looking to be as prepared as possible when I begin my ADN program. I’ve listened to every single episode of this podcast and love Nicole’s approach. Also, sorry it’s taken me so long to write this review as I’m always listening while driving.

Nicole was an amazing host! She is so bubbly, friendly, and down to earth. I enjoyed being a guest on her podcast. The work that she doing for pre-nursing and nursing students is admirable.

I am a pre-nursing student (start my 1st class on 5/31/22). I have listened to several of the episodes about test anxiety and the different study plans. It has really helped prepare my brain to go to class. Thank you for the study plan!

Nicole is such an encourager! I love her easy going manner and clear explanantions. She is the only one that that I have encoutered that really teaches "thinking like a nurse" through her study system. This episode was especially good since, I like many students, have found that the study methods used in pre requisite classes just doesn't work with nursing classes! Many of us will experience our first failures and it is a shock! Nicole gives sound advice for getting back up, dusting yourself off and moving forward!
