This is my favorite podcast to listen to when it comes to Football Manager.

I’m new to the FM scene this year buying it for the Switch. I wasn’t sure how to get started, which tactics to use, or how to even play at some points, but listening to this podcast made it a whole lot easier to play with the tips and suggestions the podcast brings about. Iain and his guests are very knowledge and are very funny at points with the demises in their saves. A great listen that I highly recommend.

There are only a select few of podcasts that I have listened to every episode of. There are even fewer podcasts that when I see a new episode, I immediately start listening to it. This is one of these podcasts.

Just recently found FM and start playing it for the first time, this podcast has not only being very helpful but also has made my commute to and from work much better. Thanks for this wonderful FM space PS. Also playing Sunderland so I identify with Ian’s pain, although I haven’t been sacked... yet

I listen to podcasts all the time but this is the first one I’ve ever reviewed. As a first time FM player this year this podcast has been exactly what I needed to lead Dundee United to a Euro Cup quarterfinal appearance. I can’t thank you enough Ian. This is just fantastic and has quickly become a must listen to me. Can’t wait to see what else you have planned for the future! Cheers mate!

I rarely review podcasts on here but I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for this show. I listen and consume a variety of content in the community but this show has found its corner of the community by basically educating you on a game we all know everything about already. I listen on my downtime at work and during my commutes and it provides a beautiful bridge between my time on the game by providing entertainment from the host - but also spotlight on a wonderful studio at SI. I also feel like I learn something each time I listen that helps me get better at the game. If you have somehow read to this point - you should have hit play already. Listen to this podcast and then listen again.

I got out of FM for about 4 years played a little in 2019 and just couldn't get back into it like I was before. I’ve never even reviewed a podcast on here before. I made it about 7 episodes before you dragged me back into this pit of agony. I sit around “is this balanced” is this tactic “a thing”. Now I also have it on my mobile and tablet. Once you dragged Alex Stewart into it I knew I was done for. I hate what you’ve done to me. But, I respect the way you did it.

This podcast has made be a much better FM player. I credit much of my recent success on this podcast.

I’m not a huge podcast listener but I do enjoy a small curated collection of which this is one of the crowning jewels. I’ve been playing FM for about six years now but I’m learning so many things I never knew before! The host, Ian, feels so relatable and has a hilarious sense of humor. The guests are fantastic and have such interesting insight, both into the game and when discussing book suggestions. My kindle library is filling up faster than I can read! If I had one complaint of this show it would be that it only comes out once a week and then I have to wait a full seven days for the next one. Keep up the good work.

This show is awesome. It’s exactly what I needed. Relatively new to Football Manager this show explains how the game works, and the result is practical strategies and concepts I can apply. Looking forward to more shows.

Great show! Been playing for a few years now so I’m still learning and this show has been great. Presenter has a great voice and friendly disposition, the guest being knowledgeable and or part of the game is great as well. Hope to hear the show continue into the new year

I couldn’t be happier about this lovely show about our favorite little football simulation. It’s lovely to hear about the details behind the game as well as the passion and care that goes into it. I’m hoping we can eventually get interviews with some of the most prominent players of football manager on the show as well. Athletic, please keep this show going.
