I love this podcast! Jessi and Stew are amazing!

If you’re a hairdresser this podcast is an absolute must! By far my favorite. This crew makes you feel like you are there and like you truly know them, they are hilarious. If I feel like I’m in a slump they are who I go to for motivation and to get back in the groove of things. Very inspiring people 🤍

Jessi, Stew & Kaylee are absolutely dynamic. Each podcast makes you feel as if you’re chatting with girlfriends over lunch! Their conversation is easy, questions are thought out and well prepared, audio is phenomenal, and topics engaging. I am not a hair stylist or involved in salon life, but still love listening to the episodes each week. It’s easy to know that they are experts in their craft! Lessons + tips are included for everyone. Highly recommend!!

Jessi and Stew bring the laughs and the wisdom in this podcast! I’ve never listened to a more entertaining duo who know their stuff and tell it like it is! Their knowledge regarding the beauty industry is PURE gold and they talk about everything from starting out fresh out of hair school to the ins and outs of running your own personal business. If your a hair stylist or in the service industry, this pod is for you!

Regardless of the time of day, mood, or general vibe of the day - this podcast is something you want to listen to. I love to hear their relationship and how they feed off one another. They work together amazingly and always have interesting topics to listen to. Love it.

Love that you and Stew keep leveling up this podcast. I like that Stew is doings YouTube series for news of burned out Stylist. Stew, I think it would be helpful if you had stylist talk on different structures of our work industry. (ie, corporate, commission, booth rent, owner…) So excited for all you all are doing!! Keep rocking it out!

I absolutely adore this podcast so much! Informative, light hearted, drama packed & educational all in one! I listen to an episode every day on my drive to cosmetology school. Even if I’ve listened before! These two bring so much joy to my mornings.🖤

My hairstylist ordered extensions from this company- this was my first time using their hand-tied hair extensions and I was very excited. My stylist installed them like normal and I was happy with how they looked. However, two to three days after install, my head started flaking and burning/itching where the band was sitting. I thought maybe it was winter dandruff and got some medicated dandruff shampoo and used as directed. However, the burning sensation wouldn’t go away and a rash appeared wherever the band would sit- whether my hair was up or down. Eventually, my scalp was flaking, itching and occasionally bleeding from irritation. I went to my stylist and asked her to take them out immediately. I contacted customer service, explained what happened and requested a refund- which I would have been satisfied with. Instead they insisted that my stylist may have installed them incorrectly, that the “mustache” was probably the issue, and I should reinstall them for another six weeks at a rate of $200. This was insane, the mustache was fully conditioned, it wasn’t the part that was irritating me, I already told them it was the band. When I told them I didn’t want to reinstall the hair as I was worried about my scalp, they stopped responding. I understand that maybe my scalp was just sensitive but I spent a significant amount of money on these extensions, they caused me significant pain and suffering- therefore any reputable company would have understood and refunded the money I paid into them.

I follow on Instagram, so I get all the drama most of the days. I love love love this podcast and I love listening but I’m stick of hearing more and more Jessi drama that I’ve heard on Instagram.

I love listening on my way to work! I love all the different things they talk about whether it’s hair, poppycock, or stories! ♥️♥️♥️

This podcast is everything. As a student and (future salon owner) this podcast is life. So much great info and I love how real they are. You guys are amazing!

Don’t get me wrong I like Stew, but... this show was kind of a bummer to listen to. He talked way too much, he talked over Jesse and he cut her off constantly! Not ok. She’s so sweet and she just lets him :/ Like I said, I like him but he’s not Jessie. We come to the show for her. She could t even talk!! I love the show and will keep listening but.. this one was a bummer.

Stew & Jessi are my faves! They are my favorite hair BFFs, educators, story tellers here! This podcast keeps me learning and busy when I’m traveling, and they are the best road trip pals I could ask for! Love you guys!!

I wish she would stop interrupting and let Mariah tell her story. She wouldn’t even let Mariah finish what she was saying she kept finishing Mariah’s sentences, it came off like she didn’t even want to hear what Mariah was saying or wanted her to finish talking so she could say what she wanted. I wanted to hear about Mariah too. I thought Jessi was supposed to be doing the interview. So frustrating to ‘listen’ to.

This is by far the best Podcast I have ever listened to. I find myself never wanting the episodes to stop and I literally check for new episodes! 😍

You are killin’ it lady and super inspiring. Thank you for being real and thank you for motivating me to become a better salon owner, stylist and person.

The sound on the guest side is muffled. I feel like it’s hard to hear the whole conversation especially when Jessi or stew start talking over the guest. But I think it’s a good show, if I could hear more of the guest.

Some of these episodes come across really catty. Glad my clients won’t hear me talk about them that way. Also are you stylists commission and buying their own supplies???? This seems like a misclassification of employee status if so. A former boss of mine got into HUGE trouble with this. IRS is really a stickler.

Just discovered this podcast and absolutely love!

I love the podcast but in the most recent episode “age is just a number” someone is eating an apple Or chewing something and I couldn’t handle it... had to turn it off. I wanted to listen to the episode but I couldn’t make it through. Other than that, podcast is great. I suggest y’all make a no loud eating while recording rule :)

Okay guys you gotta listen to this! Stew & Jessi are my “vibe in life”. Listen to this every morning while I am getting ready and in the car on the way to work. There is always something exciting and it’s just so interesting to listen to their life stories. 10/10! GO LISTEN NOW!

I LOVE these two!! They are so funny, inspiring, and have so much experience and wisdom to share as stylists and running multiple businesses! As a mom, wife, and cosmetology student, podcasts are everything to me because they are so easy to have on while you’re doing literally anything! I would love to hear more about how you are able to run your businesses with a new baby, and the salon ownership side of things. That is something I would love to pursue in the future, but I know nothing about what it takes to run a salon, the amount of money it takes just to get a location and decorate it, book keeping, taxes, hiring and paying employees, providing products, selling retail..literally all of it.😂
