I love these episodes and Wendy is amazing that she had produced so many episodes every week consistently . You can tell the work, research and passion that goes into it. And being half Italian and living in Italy as an American, she is spot on with so many observations and tips. Thank you Wendy for all that you do!

I have been listening to dozens of podcasts for a decade. This one never fails to teach me more than I knew about many Italian topics. It is the one I share the most.

Wendy’s podcasts are always informative and fun to listen. She explains everything very methodically and I absolutely love her voice - for a podcaster, it’s imperative it be clear and concise. Keep it coming, Wendy. I love all things Italian!!

I just found out about Ursula and bought her cookbook Cucina Siciliana, my mother, also named Ursula was so very proud of her Sicilian heritage and carried on all the Sicilian traditions and meals I can’t wait to get my book! Ursula Ferrigano sounds lovely!!

Always worth tuning in, and this has become one of my favorite food podcasts. Wendy does such exhaustive research into every show, and you can hear her enthusiasm for the subjects she covers. She also gets some great guests, including cookbook authors and experts on obscure ingredients.

Wendy covers many little known aspects of Italian food with so many interesting guests. You’ll want to be in Italy to experience it all!

I just listened to Flavor of Italy all about a local olive oil. I literally could taste the product and visualize the 1000 olive trees described. If you can travel now to Italy , Wendy’s stories and descriptions will allow you to be there virtually.

I have enjoyed listening to and learning so much about Italy through your podcasts. Your interview questions and guests have been wonderful. It is giving me, as an Italian American motivation to visit many places when I return. Thank you for giving me so much to look forward to! Especially during these difficult times in the world.

Delightful and super informative! Not to mention that it has provided a GREAT escape from being holed up in a city apartment these past months. Makes me feel like I'm traveling through Italy. Interesting topics too. Goes beyond the typical. I also really enjoyed the guests that populate the podcasts. I like to settle in pre-dinner, with a nice aperitivo and a snack and have a listen. Because believe me, your appetite will definitely be stimulated!

It’s pure joy to learn about the background to my favorite cuisine. I’ve been savoring Italy vicariously in quarantine in California and been inspired to try new recipes. Can’t wait to get back in person. Thank you!

Wow, I wish I had had this podcast when I was living in Italy (those were the days....best life experience ever!). But, so informative in general about food that there is no need to be a resident.
