I’ve listened to every episode once then went back to save the golden nuggets that are reminders I can keep in my back pocket. Episode 5 ways to beat burn out was such a good reminder for me this morning while listening. I can’t begin to explain the positivity this podcast has on how taking care of ourselves is important. Not just physically but mentally. You won’t be disappointed in this podcast!

I’ve been listening for a while, but haven't left a review yet because literally there are no words to describe this podcast and Julie! I struggle DAILY with body image and trying to eat right, but Julie is such a encouraging voice to let all of us know that we can! We can do anything we put our minds to. I love how she incorporates her Faith and God in these podcasts. She has motivated me to spend alone time with God and listen! I have a long way to go yet, but thanks to Julie, I know that I’ll reach my goals. I could probably write pages on how amazing this podcast is, but I’ll stop here! Even if I’m only doing two workouts a week I’m doing I’m doing something for myself. Her podcast are so helpful. I love how she ties in her relationship with God. The only negative is that I should’ve started listening sooner!

With so many influencers out there, I feel truly blessed that Julie caught my attention. She is wholesome, encouraging, challenging, but realistic. Her podcast keeps things simple & encouraging. Grateful to have a woman of faith influencing me when it comes to my body, bc I know she values health, but also knows its place in our lives. My husband & 17yo daughter have seen so many positive changes in my life, in addition to 45 lbs weight loss since July & bloodwork completely fixed. I don’t usually do reviews, but this I Highly recommend.

MPBailey1Great podcast!I stumbled onto this podcast after hearing Julie talk about reverse dieting with Charlene Johnson, and I have really been enjoying it so much! I have been working on repairing my relationship with food. I had been eating in a severe calorie deficit for a long time followed by bingeing and gaining the weight back. I am finally starting to eat more and accept the way I am. I have also subscribed to the Movement with Julie app and I love it! I feel so strong and empowered, and it is great to have a template to follow. Thanks and keep the valuable advice coming!

I decided after going from one extreme of being suuuuuper thin to a total anti diet gal, that this summer I’d commit to macro counting. I’ve dabbled with it before, but ultimately, gave up! I decided to give Jen’s podcast a listen (since I see it in my library every day 🫣) and me o my… I’ve listened to SO many episodes in the last two days! She GETS IT!! Montanan beach bumLove the support!Hey Julie! I stumbled across your workouts on Pinterest a while ago and it led me to your podcasts! I have been listening to them during all my workouts! I have always been pretty good at exercise and weight training however my nutrition was very much skewed. It wasn’t until I got married to my husband, who is in the military, that I realized I had to eat more. We were putting time in at the gym but I wasn’t quit convinced I needed to eat more until I started listening to your podcast. Now I am more confident in going to the gym with my husband and enjoying a good meal with him. Also, I LOVE how you incorporate faith and God into your podcast. You not only remind me that I need to nourish my body but also stop in the morning and read my Bible and pray<3 thank you sis!! God bless!

I’m generally not a huge fan of podcasts but lately I’ve been trying to find help for my weight/muscle gain journey. This is a big help for someone in my situation! XandiilandPractical and InspiringMy favorite part of Embrace Your Real Podcast is the variety yet consistency of every episode. There is a great variety of very practical tips and information that can be used to grow in physical and mental health, but also many episodes focusing on mindset or inspiration. This podcast is a great place to come for both physical and mental tips, and easily implemented “hacks” as well as more long term work. Julie melts all aspects of health and happiness beautifully. Regardless of the episodes topic, I always finish listening with a sense of peace as well as a little fire under my booty to progress and grow. I also love her voice and find it very soothing. This podcast is definitely worth a try whether you’re just starting on a health or fitness journey or you’ve been at it for a while.
