    Great coverage of current events!
I’ve always appreciated the podcast’s coverage of corners of the National Park Service that I might otherwise miss. But recently it has also become a fantastic source of information about how action on the federal level is affecting the NPS. The guests provide plain spoken, direct information and give you a great sense for what is happening. No euphemisms, no sugar coating. I’ve really appreciated the coverage, thank you.

    My favorite subject
I really enjoy the work done here. Nice to have a source that doesn’t just cover the popular parks. I’ve learned a lot about how things work behind the scenes. I’ve enjoyed the many interviews with naturalists, rangers and park managers too.

    Cam Sholly for President
Very informative, Kurt asks great questions and does great great research! Really interesting listening to Cam Sholly, so intelligent and honest about what is happening in Yellowstone, we need more leadership like his in this country!

Appreciate the episode how hard it is to get a campsite
Glad this is being addressed. Many of us think the system is gamed.

    New to me
I just found your podcast after seeing your instagram post about sub par parks. Truly enjoyed it and have started listening to all your podcasts starting from the first. Thanks for your hard work and enjoyable content. Susan

    Hero to zero
Used to be my favorite podcast. Now it’s just political rants. Imagine giving a review of 2020 and not mentioning any of the new parks and nothing positive whatsoever. Such a disappointment. This used to be my escape from politics and gave me things to look forward to in the national parks. Now it’s just a doom and gloom report.

    Excellent and informative
What a treat. Thanks to all who make this podcast - detailed information and conversations with experts in the field. I especially enjoyed the episodes on bear safety and gun vs bear spray. This podcast does sometimes discuss politics only insofar as it directly affects the Park System. Hard facts are discussed. My take from it is that the Park employees just want to be able to do their jobs and fulfill their obligations to the Park system. It would be nice if politics-of-the-day could never interfere with the protection and maintenance of the Parks and wildlife within.

    Too political
It would be so nice to find a podcast that discusses the national parks without all the political crap. This podcast fails miserably in that it has to make its petty jabs at every opportunity. Talk about the parks!
