I really enjoy this podcast and it’s the first one I’ve listened to. Really! I started as a closed beta tester for Destiny and became obsessed with the lore and I am still playing/ lore hunting. The hosts are enjoyable to listen to and knowledgeable. I always play this podcast on long road trips which are frequent. Keep it up you guys!

This is the kind of Destiny lore podcast that has something for everyone. The hosts are knowledgeable but very accessible. Edit: I left my review 3 years ago and still listen to the podcast. One host is new (Orchid?) and she’s fine, I don’t know what that one guy’s issue is. The direction has changed and the quality has improved. Give it a try if you like Destiny.

It was great in the beginning but orchids attitude tends to be very off putting and polarizing, and I had to stop listening because I noticed I always tuned her out when she would go off about whatever irked her in-game this week. Maybe it’s better now, maybe not. My previous attempts to leave a review don’t get posted, maybe because all of them are negative towards orchid, who should stick to looking at dirt full-time. Somebody just give me low-sodium Destiny podcast that isn’t full of cringe.

Nothing else out there has as much lore as this show. There’s just so much of it. So many lore. UPDATE, 4/17/23: there is now even more lore. It seeps forth from my earholes, quenching the earth below my feet. I fear not what this sudden deluge of lore will to do me, but moreso what it shall do to the world. Are we not suited for a life enriched by a grander awareness of the lore around us? Are we as of Icarus, flying too close to the very object which will curse us to our eternal rest? Love the podcast love the editing of the voices and to see what you guys think of destiny that week I give this a 4 out of 5 cause I need the whole fireteam during the beginning I need more rindel also is it possible to do collabs with spinfoil theory you guys would do so well also my favorite episode was Randy the best blueberry. P.S can by any chance because of gcx can you have loredaddy (byf) on at all.

Always look forward to new episodes coming out, wether they be little lore or full reading it’s always fun. I may not always agree with everything that’s said, but it’s fun to get different perspectives about this game we love and even occasionally life. Anyone reading this to decide to listen, expect a mixture of memes and “two dudes talking” followed by some in depth lore in the second half especially from Ellemist. Lastly for Orchid and Rendall, dirt is for racing, asphalt is just for getting there. Keep up the good work everyone, and thanks for all you do.

This is a wonderful podcast for Destiny fans that want both lore and laughs. They cover amazing lore book with voice dramatizations as well as delve into deeper meaning behind it or connections to other lore in game. You also get fun casual (and off the rails) banter to laugh at, review and opinions on the good, bad, and ugly of the gams content and some great coverage of the Twab. Some background info: I’m not usually a podcast type of person but you guys are super cool. I’m from LA, currently living in Copenhagen. My first episode was little lore: trespasser while I worked alone at night, and I loved it, reminded me of all the horrible traffic. Been listening every time I have the graveyard shift to learn about lore.

Found this podcast as I am getting back into Destiny after a multi year hiatus. So I listened the very first episode. But the sound quality (like most first podcasts) was distractingly bad; “Pop”s and clicks and audio dropping non stop. “it’s okay,” I thought, “I’ll just jump to the current episode” assuming they would have worked out the audio kinks. So I listened to the most recent episode (Little Lore: Trespasser) and the sound quality is much much better. However I am 31 minutes into the episode and they have yet to say ANYTHING Destiny lore related. They spent an absurdly long 10 minutes discussing a “mystery” Amazon package that one of the hosts received. They then transitioned into griping about LA traffic for no less than 10 more minutes… where is the Destiny lore in this Destiny lore podcast?

Just got back into Destiny after a long break and found this show on the “destinyverse”. Started in ep 1 that goes way way back and have to say I love it, even the early episodes. I hope This show succeeds and continues!

Just recently got into destiny last month, there’s a lot to cover so when browsing some podcasts glad I stumbled across this one! Started at the very first episode and making my way up, helps out so much since I work the graveyard shift. I love how passionate y’all are about the lore and that’s the same vibe I got when I first started looking into it as well. Good vibes, y’all sound like good people, love the work please keep it up!! Also loving the tangents and how sidetracked y’all get sometimes when talking after each entry you read. Shows how much you really care and how into it y’all are, that you’re just able to flow into a whole other topic and just rabbit hole from there all while sounding so enthusiastic about it. Again love this podcast wish y’all the best!!

It’s a masterclass of podcasting. Think of it as a combination of the down-and-dirty works of Hemingway, coupled with the flowery prose of Horace. It’s perfect, spectacular, amazing. A work of art. It deserves to be preserved in the Library of Congress. As a 34 year old corporate accountant/Destiny aficionado, I need something to listen to during these days of covid and drudgery. Guardians of Lore fits the bill, perfectly. Very entertaining! Also, shoot Orchid’s voice straight into my veins, please.

This podcast was fine to listened to at work in the background. I love Destiny and the lore is fascinating to me. Then Orchid started this thing about consoles don’t matter and all that. Pretty obnoxious. When pointed out that a console team got second in scourge she wouldn’t give any credit to the fact that they beat all but one pc team. I get it that it was supposed to be a joke and kind of funny. But you lost me as a listener. BTW, one of the guys on the podcast was clearly genuinely annoyed by it too

I found Guardians of Lore through the Lore Network and their guest appearances on Focused Fire Chat. Their format is great and easy to consume. They will read lore content from the game and then discuss theories and speculate. You’ll be laughing a lot through the back and forth between the hosts. Destiny podcasts tend to be overly critical of the state of the game and I haven’t gotten that feeling from this one at all. This is one of my new favorite podcasts to consume and I’m planning on catching up on all the backlog episodes. -WorthyD

Absolutely love this cast, I like that you read the card then rabbit hole after. The amount of humour that gets added in is glorious as well I binge listened for the last two weeks from show one and I'm now caught up. Can't wait for the next episode
