I loved learning so many cool words. My favorite was QUAGMIRE. It’s my favorite word of all time and I learned it through this podcast. I’m rather sad that it ended but keep up the great work with What If World and the AMAZING music.

i find i'm in a QUAGMIRE because The Good Words Podcast brings me INEFFABLE joy! it is so EDIFYING, it's in an ECHELON all its own! Oh yeah...i learned all of these words from Ms. Lynn!!! Very, very good words!!!

Such a fun way to grow a child’s (and their adults!) vocabularies. As a teacher, I recommend this podcast to my students’ parents for those long vacation car rides.

This is a wonderful podcast, that's quick, funny, and educational. Its one of those wonderful places where when you listen to it with your kids you're entertained and they are too while learning something. I'd highly recomend it and the past and curious, both perfect for the whole family.

The Good Words podcast is fun for the whole car on long rides with a 3 and 5 year old. They especially like the “get it” segments as they start to understand puns. Both adults and children will gain a better vocabulary with the Good Words podcast!

This podcast is a delight! I certainly learn something every time I listen and think children of all ages will too. Plus, it's entertaining. My girl loves the joke section the most and I always love seeing what poem matches the word of the episode. It's so nice to find a podcast that is always positive, educational and yet still so fun to listen to. Looking forward to season 2!

An entertaining and thorough exploration of words you need to know and how they work!

Language can be intimidating, but Miss Lynn makes vocabulary approachable by showcasing everyone from young children to professionals, and we all learn in the process. The result is educational but you almost forget amidst the conversation, jokes, and music. Great for a family car ride across town.

Sure, I’d love it if my 14-year old listened with me all the time, but I love to listen to it by myself, too. I’ve got a pretty decent vocabulary but a couple of these were new to me. Even when I’m familiar with the words I love to hear the backstory and all the fun stuff on the podcast.

There is something for everyone in the Good Words podcast! In our family, mom is a word nerd, so she loves learning new words. Hubby likes jokes, so he loves the "Get It?" segment. And 10 year old daughter loves it all. I think one of the best--and yet most unexpected--segments is "Do Over", where Lynn revisits an awkward or difficult episode from her youth and talks with a family therapist to see how kid Lynn might have handled it differently. This is the hidden gem of the podcast that could be the most valuable portion for children. They learn that everyone makes mistakes and can walk away with concrete tips for avoiding similar ones in their own lives. And it all relates to the Good Word she is featuring in the podcast! Amazing!

Lynn’s smart podcast does not talk down to children, but lures then in with smart and funny language. A great podcast for car rides! This podcast has my approbation!

Lynn brings up important subjects when she highlights each word and every single one of her episodes has lead to important conversations and thoughts with my kids. It’s amazing how as an adult I can be learning something and so can my young children. I don’t know another podcast where my kids and I all equally want to listen to the next episode. It’s a podcast I’ll save for my future when my kids are older and I want to revisit the conversations. This truly is a smart, engaging, well executed show. So glad we found it!!

I'm an adult with a pretty good vocabulary, I love listening to this podcast! I have learned new words and or learned more about words I had heard before, but have not incorporated into my vocabulary. Lynn enthusiasm is infectious! Here's to more Good Words!
