sniggledeeThe People Love Chelsea RebeccaI originally came to the pod from the Dead Meat YouTube and have come to be an even bigger fan of Chelsea than I am James. She is always so prepare and has such interesting information and insights into the movies covered on the podcast and her hosting the game episodes is my favorite thing on the show. Everybody stan Chelsea!

Tae Ka$hAs for your Sinners review…It’s good to know dead meat isn’t a racist bigot, that he acknowledges actual American history and not just cherry-picks it. I’m glad some people of European descent could somewhat understand and appreciate this movie. Me as a FBA with an affinity for the blues it hits very differently. With me also being a big fan & whatnot this is a pretty good review all things considered, although I do feel like maybe they spoke more about the Irish than the actual Foundational Black Americans that the film predominantly stars, compared to the one Irishman. Remmick while not racist did want to gentrify so to speak and assimilate the FBA’s and Sammy into his Vampire HIVE to use their stories and songs without caring much for the people behind the culture; only what it provides, i.e. allow him to connect with his ancestors. Also Black people haven’t just been depicted as dehumanizing. They’ve literally legally been considered less than human, 3/5ths of a man and such. Called savages and subhuman creatures to justify inhumane treatment. Black culture also isn’t just being borrowed. It’s been stolen. Black people, our culture, our land it’s all stolen.

MisterHellJGood afternoonGreat evening. I welcome your gratuity. Exponentially yours, me.

Following The FatherGreat show!I had always been listening to you guys since the very beginning. My favorite attention grabber was when I stumbled upon the kill counts. I was hooked! Again, great show!

THEY HAVE THE MEATSLong-time fan, first-time reviewerBeen listening/supporting Dead Meat since the early days of the channel. While I was originally brought into the fold through the Kill Counts, what has consistently kept me hooked is the podcast. Whether Chelsea and James are playing a game, reviewing a movie, or going into a research-heavy topic, I’m hooked every time. Love, love, LOVE both hosts- but Chelsea is (rightfully) the star of her own show. The depth and thought she gives to her critiques and review, as well as her film analysis and production background has made me enjoy cinema (particularly horror) with a more layered appreciation. I also appreciate the care and thoughtfulness of the topical information presented during the research-heavy episodes while still keeping the energy light and humorous. The Dead Meat team clearly puts in a lot of hard work into producing a quality product, and boy does it show. The balanced chemistry between Chelsea and James as cohosts works perfectly, and I would petition for EVEN MORE James Graessle inclusions, as his behind-the-camera additions have been a personal delight for me. Overall, long-time listener, first-time reviewer, forever fan. Fantastic work to Chelsea, James, and the whole Dead Meat team!

FifhhjdjjvjfjcLove Love Love This ShowI have been a fan of dead meat since I was a 7th grader and I am now a senior in hs. And this podcast has been one of the best things to listen to when I am bored or just want to learn about horror movies. Keep up the good work, I also love hearing about movie making techniques because I am going to be a film major!!!!!
-
laurenbrookieCutiesI love how sweet and non threatening these two make some very gruesome movies sound. You’re both gems and I love your pod.
-
GZav1212UghI really wanted to love this podcast as a huge horror fan. Well, I was thoroughly disappointed. James seems like he would be an entertaining podcast host with someone other than his insecure wife, Chelsea. I can’t get behind the insecure girl just trying so hard to be cool. Maybe with age and therapy this would be consumable.
-
HorrorpodcastjunkiePretty Good ShowI appreciate some of the film school student breakdown and research they do. They’re not quite as knowledgeable about the genre as shows like Exploding Heads ( plus they’re funny) 22 Shots of Moodz and Horror and Jay of the Dead’s shows.
-
___BecksPotentially the Most Underrated Podcast on the Internet?Long time fan here. I’ve been listening to Chelsea and and James since 2018, and I never hesitate to listen to every new podcast when it comes out. From in depth conversations about the impacts of the horror genre (kudos to Chelsea for her ability to go down an insane amount of historical rabbit holes)- to HILARIOUS trivia and Survivor style DnD games, they never cease to entertain me. These two hold a dear place in my heart! ❤️
-
ginarajuThey ARE my horror safe haven’tThis podcast is great for me specifically because I am fascinated by horror, but I’m also scared of everything. 10/10 definitely recommend

-
Lee A. ContrerasSuper well informed horror movie insightsThe two hosts have a lot of experience in behind the scenes media production and you can really see that with how much insight they offer. This show is kind, funny, and optimistic about some of the most messed up horror I've seen in my life and I LOVE IT! Its genuinely helped me get into horror I'd otherwise be too nervous to watch. I watched THE SUBSTANCE because they said it was good. This is a perfect way to start getting into horror if, like me, you're a huge scaredy cat and you need to hear some nice people tell you how fun it actually is.

hockeyfighter88This Meat never spoils!I must start by saying I’m not particularly a horror fan. There are some I like and some that I just don’t go for. That being said, James and Chelsea are awesome! I love listening to this podcast and watching the Kill Counts on YouTube! I’m not just saying this as a fellow Michigander…Dead Meat rules!
-

jgar79Great Horror PodcastDead Meat is one of the best horror-themed podcasts out there. James and Chelsea fuse their love of horror and film school sensibilities to form a highly entertaining yet insightful podcast. Never pretentious, always fun!
-
GeGe_GloomyBig fan of the podcastI don’t really listen to a lot of podcasts, but when it comes to horror these two are probably my favorites.
-
Strawberry-fields333DelightfulI have been listening to the podcast while I work for months now! They are both so genuine, funny and passionate about the horror genre. I love the games Chelsea comes up with and the serious ones like lake mungo! Much love💀🥩

predatorisamszingAm not a fan of the horror genre, love the podcastAll their media, YouTube and podcast, is awesome, and the only form of horror media I watch. Very fun breakdowns and good insight into the production.
-
!!Eddie!Literally the bestI love this podcast!!!!!! I’m not a podcast guy whatsoever, but I love listening to this while i’m crafting. Dead meat has joined me through many cosplays and it’s so super silly.
-
PlerbinumBest movie podcast of any kindWhen the pod is silly, it works because James and Chelsea are hilarious and have such wonderful chemistry. When the pod is serious, the effort that goes into it really shines, and they actually respect horror movies as films, first and foremost. Simply put, this is the best movie-centric podcast available. Subscribe now, and you can thank me later.
-
Iwiwskit89GreatI’ve been watching and listening to the dead meat team since they started. Great podcast but I wish there was music in the background. Other than that, awesome.
-
Sheywood1Favorite podcastBeen listening since middle school. Would get home from basketball and look forward to listening. Brought me an appreciation for the genre
-

SlashinfinalboyGood horror movie podcastGodly people that love horror. Blessed!
-
Horrorfoley0Best podcast everJust Great.
-
Holly89151gHard to listen toThe content is interesting. It is literally hard to listen to. The female host speaks very loudly and high pitched and it is not balanced with the soft male voice. Many time I find myself startled from the unbalanced volume levels.
-
Irine SmytheAmazing peopleI would like a podcast on the Twilight Zone and a kill count on Raiders of the Lost Ark. I think it’s horror movie adjacent like Jurassic Park.
-
BBhateChelsea and JamesI love the podcast, my 14 year old loves the YouTube channel. Thanks James and Chelsea for bringing generations together.
-
pipxsnipHorror Fanatic ParadiseI’ve watched James & Chelsea since the end of the FT13 kill count series and love their podcasts. I recommend it for everyone and if you enjoy humor through the terrifying, they are the perfect ‘parents’ to us younger horror fans. They’ve paved the road for bringing this community together and I adore the work these two including their cast put into this content. 10/10 it’s so worth listening!
-
TheAlmightyDrpWonderful ExperienceI just recently found out about the Dead Meat channel and im loving it so far!
-
StygianM4Great podcast!I knew that James and Chelsea were my kind of podcasters when they described the critical reception of ‘Terrifier’ as “split right down the middle”. Well played guys. Well played.
-
xMikuxTehxFangirlxChelsea and James can’t be beatAs a long time listener of this pod, as well as of the Dead Meat YouTube channel, I genuinely cannot say enough good about these hosts and the quality of the stuff they put out. Incredibly lovely people with great insight and research on horror favorites as well as some deep cuts, the love for the medium (and each other 💜) is palpable in every episode.
