Great insight, no fluff reporting and great basketball convos with reporters & players. As good of a podcaster as he is, Scotto is an even better human. Easy to support someone that is a genuine person.

Scotto is just not a good host. No chemistry with any of his guests and no real intel that isn’t just regurgitating stuff that’s been reported elsewhere

The host of this podcast has a voice made for being behind the scenes. Really hard to listen to. His guest Tony Jones seemed to not even care if he made sense as long as he carried water for the Jazz. Home town “journalist” repeatedly referred to Utah as “we” and made preposterous statements like the Jazz were ready to compete this year when everyone knows they are tanking. Scott has a responsibility to at least question ridiculous statements, but seemingly wasn’t listening to the answers. Gave it a try but wouldn’t listen again with this host. Get new talent.

Been following Alex a long time and love how he dives into the NBA and player stories off and on the court. He allows guests to tell their story and share super entertaining stories involving basketball. His insights and opinions are intriguing and love listening to the podcast.

Great job by Alex and Mirin Fader, who discusses her recent Bleacher Report article on the fishbowl existence of the youngest and perhaps most talented of the Ball Brothers. Great article -- and podcast! Highly recommended.

Alex does a great job with this podcast. It’s definitely a must listen for any NBA fan. I’ve been following Alex since he was a young kid on RealGM and I’ve continued to be impressed at how his knowledge has increased as he’s pursued his dream. Keep up the good work!

I enjoy listening to the Hoops Hype podcast because Alex does a great job of surveying the league. You’ll get a lot of in-season developments, free agency, draft, and big picture discussions. His passion and understanding of the NBA come through in the best way.

This show is REALLY good! Alex does a great job of not beating you over the head with stats. He has some really interesting guests and let’s them share their stories without over talking them. If you love basketball and it’s culture this is it! #NutsAndBoltsSports

Interesting guests on the show, which is why I occasionally listen. My negative feedback (what makes it difficult to listen to the episodes) are: - poor sound quality (because most of the guest are apparently phoning in) - TOO MANY VOCALIZED PAUSES ("you know," "um," "yeah, so," "like," "and, uh," etc. It may be a (strong) personal preference of mine, but those really grate on me in normal conversation, let alone something that someone does for their profession.

Alex Kennedy delves into current NBA news that the audience wants to hear; Kawhi was a great topic to talk about. The guest mic quality could be a little better but that is a small change that can be easily done. It will be interesting to see what to the future holds for this podcast. Good luck.

Great interviews with both former and current players, as well as executives and some of the league’s top media members. Especially excellent when the trade deadline and free agency roll around, when Alex brings on some of the best rumormongers around the Association (like Marc Stein, Brian Windhorst and Michael Scotto) to discuss the latest scuttle. A must-listen for all real NBA fans who want to become more informed on their favorite league!

I used to respect Alex Kennedy but he’s overly emotional. This guy is awful.

I'm really glad Alex started this podcast. We all know the kinds of sources he's cultivated over the years, so that certainly helps, but he's also an excellent interviewer. That comes from, I think, his ability to actively listen, his basketball knowledge, his comfort conversing with people from diverse backgrounds and his impeccable research.

I've been following this kid's writing since he was an actual kid. It's great to see the transition to new media be so smooth and confident.

Alex Kennedy is able to bring in countless big names, who contribute quality commentary on what goes on in the league. The insight is incredibly valuable, and Alex does an excellent job sparking conversation.

Doesn't seem to get to much new or insightful information from players or GMs, just a lot of PR talk. However, I don't blame that on the host as many of his questions are well done. I appreciate the podcast because the Orlando magic get discussed and sadly no one ever talks about them. So it's a nice change.

For one of his podcasts with a GM not only did Alex take a question I tweeted at him and ask it during the podcast but was responsive on twitter about it. Makes me as a fan feel knowledgeable and my opinions taken into account. Highly recommended for any NBA fan!

Great podcast, obviously the fans can't get to ask the players or managers. It's good to have people like Alex who basically asks everything the fans have on their mind.

Alex does a great job getting personal with his guests! I love hearing stories of opinions of his guests that aren't necessarily found on traditional media. Can't wait to keep listening and see who else he has on!

I'd prefer more stories of guys. So the Larry Nance with Chron's. I'd rather hear more explanation of that. It was a passing question. I'd rather you feel the conversation rather than going through your list of 25 questions. More personality from Alex would help tremendously!

He seems like a nice guy, but come on. None of this is really that illumunating. It is just giving cliche athlete soundbites or restating what other, more-connected people have already said. His journey is a cool story, and shows ambition, but the finished product leaves a lot to be desired. He is the most shameless self-promoting NBA personality ever (seriously, look at his Twitter page. He tweets something, and then retweets his own tweet 30 minutes later. And then retweets that same tweet again the next day, and then again the next week. That is just so lazy and it makes sorting through what is new news really tough.) Nice guy, but this just isn't good at all. Wish him nothing but the best, but stop retweeting your own tweets.
