I was the producer of for Catcom Home Video. I wanted to make it like a drive in movie experience with double features, ads for the concession stand, cartoons and previews in between the films. I also did this for TV shows as well. We had commercials and an actual sign off at the end, We sold over 1 million copies at big lots and we were the only double features in the beginning before people copied our idea. I fought long and hard to get the best transfer possible. You’re right public domain Classics are only as good as their transfer. By the way, Andy Kaufman is in Sunday night, bloody night and a cameo. All the entertainment you could possibly want for only $3.98. I’m proud of the product that I created.

This Podcast is one of the best podcast out there, if you can tolerate the length, which I consider one of its best attributes. The hosts lack any bias when it comes to Horror Movies in general. If their tackling a particular subject that allows a diverse viewing experience, you can count on them to span the complete spectrum of Horror. The hosts will include any year, doesn't matter if it’s a 1960’s or a present day release. Their open mindedness toward Shot on Video, 1980’s schlock,High Brow, Foreign Cinema, Japanese Pink Films or Italian Cinema. Nothing is off limits. Unlike most Horror Podcast that govern their tastes through a prejudice lens. limiting their time and willingly chose to omit certain Horror fair, because it’s “Black and White” or “Their just not making good movies these days” or some political agenda that suits their current “Cult state of Mind”. This podcast knows no bounds and it’s amazing for it. My only complaint is, and I say this as a loyal listener, because I have listened to every second of every episode. Since the addition of Tyler, who is an amazing host . Tyler, you are obviously an intelligent person, but your use of the word “Like” after every 3rd word making it hard to focus on your astute point of views. It also becomes virus like, infecting the other hosts, that also begin to over use “Like”. Hopefully my small criticism doesn’t offend but bring awareness. Thanks for the excellent Podcast and “Like” keep up the great work!!

The show has always been racist towards minorities and offensive to the disabled. One of the hosts is an alcoholic who gets drunk and talks over everyone the whole show. It appears the show is basically dead at this point though, thankfully.

Over the years I have listened to A LOT of horror podcasts. This is, far & away, the absolute best out there. Moodz & the gang cover the broadest range of horror cinema you could ask for. Plus they’re incredibly knowledgeable & funny while doing it. Highest of recommends!

22 Shots is far and away my favorite horror podcast. Don’t let the long run times scare you off, just break up the shows and come back to them. It’s a lot of content with some solid insight and entertaining cross-talk. I like the vibe, I like that it’s politically incorrect and I like that these guys are true horror fans. I’m a better horror fan for listening to this podcast and you will be too. Hurry back guys! The break this Summer has been too long!

Jeremy is the worst speaker on the planet voice annoying. No one listens to him on the podcast. Clears his throat or smacks his lips constantly. But I have similar tastes in movies. I get a lot of good modern suggestions from him on here and letter box. Moods is cool

You guys are lame posers.Everybody thinks silence of the lamb is a perfect film. No it’s not. Hannibal is so much better. Nothing beats the dinner scene. And it’s not the movies fault . Blame it on the writer.

First podcast I’ve gotten into and it’s been a blast. I thought I was knowledgeable about horror but I’ve gone back to horror school with these guys.

These guys put on one helluva entertaining show. Their casual hangout vibe really helps me span time as if I was with some pals having some drinks and talking Horror. I also LOVE that these guys are real and not putting on airs to score brownie points with the PC sissies that seem to dominate 90% of all podcasts. These Horror heads are hardcore and Moodz is THE man.

Just wanted to say that these guys are awesome and this podcast is amazing. Anyone who is a fan of horror should check these shows out. This show got me into podcasts. I have anxiety issues and listening to this laid back, chill, and long podcast relaxes me and helps me get through the work day as well as long drives and gym sessions. Keep up the great work!

Don’t know what I would do without moodz and Jp getting me through my work day. They are extremely knowledgeable on anything horror and I love hearing them discuss films. There is also some other guy on the show to but I can’t remember his name cause it’s not important, all you need to know is moodz and JP. P.s I’m just kidding Jeremy. I love you to I’m just busting you’re balls but I do wish sometimes your would speak up more cause I’m really interested in what you have to say as well.

These cats can be a bit long winded, but that just means you get more bang for your buck! Super entertaining and informative!

I discovered these guys about a year ago, and I haven't stopped listening since. All 3 hosts really know a lot about horror, and their conversations are very thought-provoking and entertaining. Moodz is like a horror encyclopedia, and I'm pretty sure he's seen literally every movie in the genre. I find myself agreeing with JP's opinions the most as far as personal tastes go. And people give Jeremy a lot of crap, but he knows a lot about the technical side of film making and I find his foul-mouthed angry personality funny and refreshing in an increasingly P.C. world. Seriously, if you only listen to one horror podcast, listen to this one.

Awesome podcast that covers a massive variety of horror. Not only that, but the show consists of a Canadian, Mexican AND Jew who are all hilarious to listen to. What more could you ask for? The answer is nothing. Hurry up and check these guys out! 22/10 stars

This podcast is awesome!!! I stumbled onto Moodz channel several months ago and heard him mention he did a podcast on one of his shelf by shelf videos. Since then I have listened to every episode (in order) and subscribed to all 3 of their YouTube channels. Moodz is a great host and a fountain of knowledge, JP is a fantastic podcaster and knows how to keep things moving, and despite how much crap he gets, Jeremy really knows his stuff (and is the best YouTuber in the bunch imo) They have an awesome community around them, but it’s mostly based on Facebook. As someone who doesn’t use Facebook, I wish they were more active outside of Facebook like on Instagram and Twitter. But they are amazing at what they do, and really know horror! Best horror podcast I’ve ever listened to! I’ll be listening as long as they keep doing them!!

Despite the silly title (which shouldn't put you off at all), this is one of the finest and most enjoyable podcasts on the genre out there. The long-form 4 or 5 hour shows flow smoothly, as the segments and discussions from Jp, Jeremy and Moodz are engaging, hilarious and well-researched. With tons of great content, plenty of laughs and some engaging hosts, this deserves a place among the feed of any type of horror fan.

This is the show that got me into pocasts and later into podcasting. The Knowlege of Moodz, JP and Jeremy is second to none. They pour their hearts and intellect into each show as they bring you hours of entertaining featuring everything you need to keep up with the horror of today and the greats of the past. Great show for anyone who love horror movies. These guys are very knowledgeable and will have you searching the internet for flicks you haven't even heard of but now want to see. Bravo guys

I discovered this podcast from Exploding Heads and checking out other podcasts on Horrorphilia. I'm glad I did. I have started to go back from the beginning because I enjoy the banter from the guys. I've added a lot of titles to my must see lists thanks to these guys. I enjoy they are collectors like myself and give where I can check out the films they talk about. I'm a big fan now and can't wait for new episodes.

These guys know what they're talking about. JP gives fair reviews based on techinacalities, not his own opinions (Which I'm not the biggest fan of, I just don't understand saying "I don't like this film but 8.5/10.") but will give each and every reviewed film a fair shake, and really dissects each and every film, Moodz drops the knowledge on old school Italian flicks and has recommended some great ones that I may not have checked out otherwise, Jeremy doesn't bring much to the table, other than screaming asinine comments in the middle of intelligent conversations and giving ridiculous reviews based on his "film school" knowledge, I guess that's just his thing though. Love it otherwise! I love the long form format and the different segments for Moodz and JP. I have checked out numerous horror films based on recommendations from the 22 Shots crew (even from 10/10 Derek!). Give these guys a listen and let them take you to school on a film or two!

JP , Bad News Moodz & the other guy man what a trio they are. The shows flow like fine wine & no matter how long they are it seems like it just flys by. They run down series with as much info as they can give , each show is very informative Give them a listen & you wont be sorry

Looking for a horror podcast with knowledgeable hosts, in depth discussions and some good laughs? Well look no further! This is one of the best podcasts around and I guarantee if you give them a try you will not regret it. I just started listening in Nov 2016 and working my way through the back catalogue and enjoying every minute. Keep up the great job guys!!

Shots and Moodz bring the fun every time the mics are on. Tons of great info ( just listen to JP drop that knowledge on the Hatchet show or Moodz telling you the 411 on Italian flicks) and an always well prodcued show you can place your bets on this being a great time.

A fantastic horror movie podcast where Moodz, JP, and Derek go in depth with a number of horror films. These guys know their stuff. Their episodes may be a bit long but that works perfecly for me when im at work. i highly recommend you give these guys a listen.

Great podcast especially if u want to learn and find out about more horror films

This is probably one of the best horror podcasts I've ever listened to. The main-stay hosts, Moodz and JP, are two really relatable horror fans whom you can tell really adore the genre through better and worse. Incorporated guest hosts are always awesome; especially when they get the guys from another great horror podcast (they'll make your head explode) and a good friend of mine (Derek) to join them. Films they cover always range in variety; from your typical slasher to something atypical such as an unknown Italian Horror gem. Reviews are usually always spoiler free and some of the most fair reviews I've heard covering technicality, aesthetic, and overall enjoyment factor. The length of each episode adds to this coverage as well, making their discussions some of the most in depth on a horror (or film in general) podcast. There is also some great segments aside from the reviews such as the "Knowledge" segment, "Release of the Week", and the "Rue Morgue Morbid Fact" (even if they shafted these guys); among many others! The only negative about this podcast is, and please don't take this to heart, they often talk over each other. This is actually just a minor nitpick because I know these guys don't do it on purpose; sometimes a discussion just gets really heated and they all try to talk at once. Overall this is an amazing. entertaining, informative podcast. 10/10 (5/5 on ITunes) I will add that Mr. Jeremy is missed as a host on the show; his film school background and views on film always made for some interesting discussion/arguments. However, and I'm not just saying this because he's a good friend, Derek would make an excellent addition as a permanent host; his reviews are always in depth, fair, and are borderline those of a pro. I'd also like to add that these guys usually encourage us (the listeners) to check out a film even if they did not particularly like it. Cheers gentleman! I'm sorry this was a little lengthy and written in a... "Movie Review" Format.

Been listening since episode one. spent countless hours listening an plenty lol moments including vampachans gnome alone and uncalled for Texas chainsaw references and etc .Also times get serious to with epic debates on ratings such as Jack Frost and the Blair witch. Also a great source for all news and releases that people like me are to lazy to look up. So basically what I'm trying to say if you like horror movies this is the podcast for you!!

I've been a listener since episode 1. This is an inciteful and entertaining podcast that continues to evolve with any changes along there way. I always appreciate the range of views presented, not to mention the hidden gems they have recommended along the way. It also doesn't hurt that they are some cool dudes.

I am new to this show and found it through exploding heads. I was literally instantly hooked and have been marathoning the back catalog. Even the old shows hold up are are extremely, extremely entertaining. I've been subscribed to these guys since late 2012 on YouTube and have been an avid listener of their podcast for a while now. Not really a podcast person, but was surprised at how this show drew me in and have become a part of my weekly routine. Excellent material from horror news to releases, discussions about the genre and horror collecting, personalized segments, and much more. The hosts (Moodz and JP) are incredibly engaging and hilarious, have great personalities, and collaborate with fun guests and other podcast hosts as well on select episodes. You will piss yourself laughing at some point. They're also very responsive/interactive should you have questions or requests about upcoming topics/shows. I have pretty much stopped searching for my own info on horror, and just tune in to the podcast instead. Highly recommended.
