I can’t say enough good stuff about this podcast. During the pandemic, I was looking for local horror podcasts in the DMV area, found @EpicFilmGuys, and haven’t turned back! I love their analysis of horror movies (now expanded to non-horror), love dynamic, and wealth of knowledge around writers, directors, franchises, sfx, etc. This was the first podcast I became completely obsessed with.

I found this group after seeing them hosting a Fright Night movie at the Alamo Drafthouse. Have been subscribing to their podcast ever since. Very funny and still insightful with some movie trivia mixed in. The chemistry between the guys guys in the group is great. Always looking forward to the next podcast!

The opinions are purposeful either because they provide personal experience, behind the scenes, or just plain humor to add to the discussion. They get you thinking deeper about whatever they discuss.

One of the few podcasts I listen to and there’s really nothing else like it. It’s one of my favorite things to listen to and look forward to each week. If you’re a fan of horror movies - or just movies in general - you need Epic Film Guys and Brain Stew in your life.

I don’t have too many friends who are into horror as much as I am so it’s kind of like tuning into a topic that is very personable to me. I enjoy listening to you guys while I work on school assignments or just in general hang out. My favorite episodes are your “Top #” and your reviews for something that I just got done watching. Great guys that bring different views of a film. One of the only movie review podcasts that actually helps you decide if you want to see a movie or not. Best yet, they don’t make you feel stupid for liking a movie that they don’t. Great jobs guys! Love the show!

These guys do not disappoint. I love the banter between the hosts, their friendship shines through and you feel like you’re sitting in the room with your people. The knowledge, experience, and personality behind these two is incomparable. This is entertainment. This is an education on film. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. 🤘

The Epic Film Guys is a wild podcast. It never fails to not be entertaining. The guests have different, distinct personalities that are larger than life. They show a lot of respect for genre films and get into the nuts & bolts of horror/action/sci-fi films. Very opinionated, but in a way that doesn’t offend. I love listening to them.

I love these guys so much! Their reviews on films are always so ARTICULATE. They always make sure to get down every detail possible of each film they’re reviewing while also having fun with their audience. Extremely interactive and very enthusiastic guys! Great job and keep up the good work☺️

Epic Film Guys has some of the best, most informative, and entertaining content available in the form of a podcast. Their Brain Stew and B-side segments are wonderful. They are honest, keep things real, and embody the true essence of what it means to be film fans, especially when talking about horror movies. I trust their opinion, wholeheartedly, and just enjoy listening to them. Can’t even believe this stuff is free. PS I love Justin‘s big muscles and all of their big songs.

It’s definitely a refreshing to hear Guys actually be fans of Film and not just people that are here on the trend of hating on everything for click or subs. You definitely feel the love and passion in what they do. And it comes from being true fans and also being brutally honest about there view on whether it be Horror,Sci fi, Thriller’s ,Action .. And to say what’s not being said. Wrapped up in hilarious fashion. Theses Guy’s definitely make you feel like you are apart of there world and its like visiting friends every episode. I definitely give these Guys a Shot you definitely will be entertained and really enjoy it. 🔪💀

Listening to Jermey and Justin review movies, & countdown to the upcoming Halloween movie has been a treat! Feels like being part of a conversation with good friends, even though I’m not there communicating with them, I nod to my self and agree with things they bring up about the films they’re reviewing each week. Epic Film Guys is an absolute must subscribe podcast for film fans especially horror fans. I've been listening to them for a couple of years now, I’m never disappointed. They're so knowledgeable, and it’s like hanging out with friends after a film screening. Brain Stew is truly amazing! I get so excited when I get a notification about a new episode. Jeremy is such a great addition to the team. I love hearing about all the crazy convention stories from him. Justin and Jeremy, y'all rock and thank you for all that you do. 🤘🎃👻

The enthusiasm Justin and company share for all things Halloween definitely speaks to my soul! While I do miss the original trio - especially the banter with LoySauce - the new team of Justin and Jeremy is great! Just when I thought I knew most of what there was to know about some of my favorite movies, these guys always prove me wrong. favorite podcast at the moment.

I am a huge fan of this podcast. The Brain Stew installments were my introduction and I have thouroughly enjoyed each episode. The discussions often remind me of conversation I would have while working at Blockbuster about all of the films we had watched and loved/hated. A nice reminder. Give them a listen and you will not be disappointed!

This podcast brims with fun, entertaining, knowledgeable horror goodness. As a horror addict myself its like sitting with one of the guys for an hour and just talking, debating and discussing our favorite horror topics, tropes, and films. Loving the brain stew segments with my friend Jeremy and his man Justin. And I honestly have no complaints with this show at all, I’ve listened to almost every episode and loved every second of it. If you are a horror nut or just love movies in general I cannot recommend this show enough. Do yourself a favor and just give it a listen!

Jeremy is an excellent addition to the podcast. His segments detailing his adventures at horror cons are hilarious and riveting. Don’t sleep on this one creeps!

I’ve only recently discovered the EFG podcast, and I’m now working backwards to hear the awesome and funny past episodes. These guys are true cinephiles, I highly recommend this podcast.

An epic podcast for our times! Film lovers and comedy fans unite, these guys always have a great time discussing what they love. Justin, Nick, and the God of podcasting himself - the Loy Sauce - are always a blast to listen to. You feel like you are hanging with your friends and talking about movies whenever you tune in.

I’ve only listened to a couple episodes, but these are my kind of people! I’m obsessed with Batman and Horror movies, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a lover of classic (and some trashy) cinema as well! I like hearing reviews about new movies, but I really love hearing in depth dissections into older classics. It’s the nostalgia nerd in me. Give these guys a listen!
