Saint Faustina’s Diary in a Year

434

The Lord’s “Secretary of Divine Mercy,” St. Faustina, wrote what has become a modern-day spiritual classic — a blueprint for living a sacramental life in union with Jesus Christ. For anyone who may think the Diary is too thick and formidable, Most Rev. Joe Roesch, MIC, has the solution. Join him for a few minutes each day as he reads from the Diary and offers commentary. Over the span of one year, you will have “read" the Diary, beginning to end, and by the grace of God, absorbed its rich teachings. Welcome to this spiritual journey! Together, through the mystical writings of St. Faustina, let’s come to better know the tender love of Jesus for all humanity. To order a copy of the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, visit ShopMercy.org.

I very much enjoy and look forward to St Faustina’s Diary in a Year podcast. It has given me more insight into the heart of Jesus and of his great and enduring love for each of us. How very beautiful our Lord is, how kind, caring and all-knowing. His relationship to each of us is very intimate. St. Faustina is very humble and her humility teaches me how to become humble. She is very wise. St. Faustina, please intercede for us! Thank you. Karen

Saint Faustina’s Diary in a Year
Father Joseph Roesch has a beautiful way of reading a passage of the diary and then offering his reflection so it is more easily understood. I bought Saint Faustina’s Diary a couple of years ago and loved reading it, but did not finish it. I was happy to find the podcast, as this is truly deepening my faith. I recommended it to women in my parish’s prayer group as well. Thank you, Father Roesch for bringing this podcast to so many.

Keeps me focused on God’s Will
Edifying to say the very least. We have the privilege to hear the heart felt words of a Saint! She is very human but Jesus works through her weaknesses to save souls. St Faustina! May Jesus work through me as well! Pray for us!

    Thank you for this podcast
I have read The Diary and it changed my life. I find great comfort in listening to these words from The Diary which are enriched by Father’s explanation of the context of Sister Faustina’s life, life with her Sisters, her spiritual advisors and the state of the world and the Church at the time of the writing.

    Good use of time.
The world needs God’s Mercy. Thank you for taking the time and dedication to share with the world over so many days. A book with so many pages seems daunting to read but broken into daily chunks makes it less intimidating. One resolution that was worth adding to my daily routine.

    Thank you for this work
Listening to each entry and the meditation or commentary after has helped bring the message to life for me. I’ve already listened to them all once but I’m beginning to start over . I started marking the Diary for things I need / want to remember . I plunged myself into the ocean of His Mercy like an Olympic diver and trust in His Word.

    Divine Mercy in a Year
This podcast has been the most amazing blessing. Every day I would see the Diary on my bookshelf and think to myself, “one of these days I will actually sit down and read the diary.” But having Father Joe read it and give a short reflection each day has been so enlightening. Thank you so much Marian Fathers!

Learn about St. Sr. Faustina and her amazing message of Divine Mercy
Fr. Joe Roesch does an amazing job of narrating and summarizing a few sections of St. Faustina’s diary each day so you want to miss a day!! The message of Jesus Meriful Love for us needs to be shared with everyone!!

Thank you Father for taking up this task
These small bites are much greater than their size in how profound they are. When we see how intimate Jesus can be with St Faustina, we see how personal Jesus is. We see that we too can talk to Jesus as a child. We see how much he loves us as an individual soul. He is not distant unless we distance ourselves. Jesus is as close as we allow and invite Him. And St Faustina shows how her humility and devotion were keys to the Heart of Jesus. Thank you Father. Your commentary is also so spot on. You’re obviously tied to the heart of St Faustina.

I have struggled to appreciate Saint Faustina’s writing. I have her book and have attempted to read it. Friends that I respect are devoted to her. That’s why I tried this podcast, to try again. Fr. presents her writings in a way I can understand and I look forward to new podcasts. I am going to read her book along with this podcast.

    SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS PODCAST
I don’t have much time to read a paper book so it’s great to have it read aloud to me. Also it’s better than an audiobook because of Father’s reflection at the end. Saint Faustina is so accessible and relatable that I can’t believe I was ever intimidated by the idea of reading her diary. One friend reads it out loud to his kids as bedtime stories and it’s totally accessible to them too!

Saint Faustina's Diary In a Year
Such a beautiful diary about God's mercy. I have the book and always wanted to read it but hadn't. It's a short (under 10 minutes total) podcast each day but so many pearls of wisdom. And Fr.
