LeahFeinPositive and fun for horror movie fans! This is one of the ones that I click as soon as it downloads the new episode. I think you’ll really like it if you like comedy or horror, or horror/comedy. Really enjoyable
-
samlau0916The rare horror unicornLet's face it, the horror community can be toxic. Nothing is scary, nothing is entertaining and every single suggestion you're given, you hate But you know what everyone can agree on? This podcast is hysterical although there should be a warning not to drink liquids while listening, it can be dangerous to your health! The highlight of my day is hearing Adam Peacock break because then it really goes off the rails!
-
WriterSarahSo funny, it’s scaryLike any comedy podcast, some episodes are just way funnier than others, but every one I’ve listened to so far has been HIGHLY entertaining, if not outright hilarious. Perfect for horror fans who need a mental health break from binge-watching the Hellraiser franchise (speaking from personal experience here). Seriously—the episode on Jaws had me CRYING, I was laughing so hard.
-
Gimlet NimblepawFrightfully Funny!Learn the other side other story from your favorite horror movies as Adam Peacock interviews background characters who survived the slaughter! They aren’t the final girl or the strong jawed hero; they’re the delivery person from the end of Seven, the neighbors from Poltergeist, a dance instructor from The Road, and the monsters from Cabin in the Woods to name a few! So many hilarious episodes and wonderful guests! I love this podcast!
-
KyleS54Perfect for a horror/comedy fanReally a great podcast. Big fan
-
13Jam13JamMy Favorite PodcastThank you, Adam Peacock and Nate Dufort! You’ve given me so many good laughs over the years, listening to My Neighbors Are Dead Podcast. So fun and specific. Never disappoints!
-
Marc NischanI routinely laugh out loud…I have to check myself at work because I listen with headphones and I’m sure I sound crazy to the people around me. :) I love hearing Adam’s “unsung horror” every episode. Sooooo googleworthy! Favorite Episode: Poltergeist.
-
AsherPerlmanIncredible podcastThis podcast is so funny and perfect. Adam is the absolute best
-
laurenjewell_SolidOne of my favorite podcasts to introduce to my friends while on a road trip [pre pandemic]! Adam is a great host and all of the neighbors - guests - are so dang funny. My all time favorite is “Silence of the Lambs with Blaine Swen”. Say it with me now: tasteful nudes. [and while I’m here I’d like to request “May” for a future episode! Please and thanks]
-
Alex D AraizaFriends, horror movie enthusiasts, and improv are a good comboBeen listening to this before bed times so as to wind down. The friendliness and humor really takes the anxiety away.
-
Pantene MinusJust Found/Now HappyI am grateful this podcast exists.
-
SnarkyjohnnyLove It!It’s a really original idea and it’s executed very well. Adam Peacock sounds like a guy you’d want to hang out with whether it was at a dive bar or a basketball game he’d bring the laughs.
-
SammaCramerWork GigglesI’ve been listening to this at work and giggling to myself but I’m not even ashamed. I don’t like horror movies but I’m thoroughly enjoying this podcast. Adam has a lovely voice and makes for a great host. The improv is wonderful I <3 all the characters.

Corey A.LISTEN NOWThis is one of the funniest podcasts available in the vast, infinite, and shapeless void that is the Internet. I lucked upon this podcast while searching for something spooky during the holiday season (of course, I’m talking about the Halloween season which is the only holiday season that matters). What I find was a show that regularly makes me laugh until it hurts and exudes an honest and heartfelt love for the horror genre. I am so thankful I discovered this show and I urge you to take the time to listen. You won’t be sorry that you did.
-
bkcb286I love/hate scary moviesUnlike my older brother, who’d regularly hide under my bed in the early ‘90s to terrorize me by yelling, “It’s the leprechaun!” in an Irish brogue, My Neighbors Are Dead makes silly scary movies fun.
-
dustinhailey45WowzaI love horror and I love comedy. Or I thought I did until I listened to this podcast. If this is horror based comedy then I no longer like either of those things.
-
Micky MerollaClever and originalI found this podcast a year ago and was immediately hooked. As a horror movie fan since the age of six (Night Of the Demons was my first) this is absolutely brilliant. I’ve already told everyone that I know about this, so now I’m telling everyone that I don’t know. 10/10 love you guys!
-
anniekey1This show needs to get out there!!!This might literally be the best podcast nobody's listening to. Horror movies are a goldmine for comedy, and the host and guests on this show are super likeable. Nothing's better than when Adam can't hold in a snort as he tries to stay serious!
-
LawrynicoleYessssLove this podcast! Horror film junkie here, and comedy addition is the best!
-
Owl someYASI love this. Very clever and greatly entertaining!
-
Ousk5HilariousGreat podcast. Very funny and a great premise for a show.
-
infinitefiniteYou got comedy in my horror! You got horror in my comedy! The perfect marriage of improvisation and horror appreciation with great names in comedy, both established and unknown. Such an innovative show and a lovable host. Definitely worth a listen for anyone who loves comedy OR horror.
-
VivijonagenevieveInteresting, engaging, hilariousEvery episode is so different and authentic. Real stories, funny people. 5 Stars, 2 thumbs up, Applause.
-
OkieLaneAs fun as The Magic Tavern but maybe without a paywallYep von Yeppers
-
GnawcxMakes my weekAdam and Nate have created a masterpiece. I like ok forward to the guests and movies every week. I may not know every reference but they take such good care of you that it doesn’t matter. I love this show.
-
PocketThunderIncredibleAn awesome premise executed hysterically. The only way it could get better is with more Danny from the Purge episode.
-
SamLockeOne of my favorite showsI love horror movies and I love comedy podcasts. This is the best of both worlds. Adam is a great interviewer with a very relatable personality. The professional improvisers playing characters just off screen during the events of this film play just close enough to the fringe to make their lives hilarious, sometimes completely unaware of the events they missed out on. 5 stars
-
Mne11Love it!!!Warning: if you listen to this in public you will laugh out loud and people will stare
-
SebastianbnsV funnyGreat show
-
Reba J.I don’t even like horror movies, but I love this. It’s consistently funny, in different ways every episode. Perfect binge listening.
-
virtualbriGreat concept; flawless executionJust when I thought there were no new concepts for podcasts left, this makes me feel hilarilously foolish. And it's not just that it's a good concept, it's a well done good concept. First rate guests and great selection of movies the characters are from. And no longer than is funny. Great, great great!
-
N_DoofSuper funny guestsAmazing guests and Peacock is pretty funny too.
-
"Jeph"Funniest Death Related Concept I've HeardEven though the characters are fictitious, the sweet cathartic joy of laughing at other's misery is very factual. Highly recommended.
-
SeePeeThreeListen to this podcastThey make Ira Glass and Mark Marin sound like a voicemail from a telemarketer. Give them up. Get into this. If you don't, you'll never have a satisfying lay another day that you'll live. I wish these people were my parents.
-
jtroublesSuper Super FunnyGreat theme song too 🙃
-
RichiehartzHilarious and unique premiseThat adam guy sounds soooooooo hot
-
Michelle L-WAdam is the coolestBest, most hilarious podcast out there!!!
-
BJ ColangeloAn absolute must listen for horror fansThis is one of the most entertaining podcasts available for lovers of horror cinema and an absolutely genius idea. To paraphrase a wise man, "I’ve listened to THE EXORCIST episode about 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier, every single time I hear it!"
-
SteebForb63I've never been so happy to hear my neighbors are dead!Life is all about perspective and in this day and age it's difficult to get many sides to a story. This podcast is refreshing in that it widens the lens on many horrific events I remember only seeing movies about. I like seeing (or in this case HEARING) the whole picture. Adams got a voice for radio and a bod for pod! 5 STARS. Would strongly recommend.
-
iheargoodThey're Coming To Make You Laugh...Every week, Adam invites a little known character from a horror movie to add their unique story and perspective to the chilling events most only saw onscreen. Or at least that's the game. From there, fantastic comedians and improvisors weave hilarious gold out of cinematic bloodshed. I love this show and I think the world should know more about it.
-
SjsbearStellar comedy, witty horrorWhat a fun concept and even better executed. It's quick and warm and smart and funny. Incredibly well produced and sounds amazing. Adam is a fabulous host to an array of talent. Immediate subscribe 💕
-
PDSJoshHILARIOUS!I listened to the episode about Jaws, and LOVED the dry offbeat humor. Would definitely reccomend
-
PDS KirkGreat showThis show is amazing in so many ways! The concept is great and the special guests that they have are hilarious. You don't even really have to know the story behind the movies they talk about to enjoy the show. Well made keep it up!
-
seemonstersA few of my favorite thingsHuge horror fan! Huge comedy fan! This podcast is that and more! Adam, and the guests are always hilarious!
-
cbbruunoNothing but fun for horror and comedy fansThese are so great. Original and funny, the only complaint I would have is that they aren't longer. Comedians at their best.
-
Norman8sPsycho, Jaws, The Omen! This guys hit all my favorite movies! Very funny!
-
SingItBackAmazingDiscovered this when Adam Peacock guested on Kill By Kill. I thought he was funny and I was intrigued by the premise of his podcast. I have been blazing thru the episodes ever since. This is one of the funniest, most ingenious podcasts around. The concept is hilarious and each episode delivers. Adam is excellent, the guests are perfect. I literally love everything about it. If you're into horror movies or into laughing at them, this is a must listen- start with the Friday the 13th episode, you'll be hooked. I'd give it six stars if that was a thing.
-
QthatsitCleverly played! You can hear the fun the players are having. Plus, each episode is considerate of the listeners time, by averaging 20 minutes or so.
-
