    Great content, interesting conversations
I’m a diehard podcast consumer and this has become one of my favorites. Love the host and the fact that she allows her guests to speak freely and doesn’t interrupt them. Thoughtful and interesting content. Not stuck on just one topic, but weaves interestingly through politics and culture. Funny, quirky rapid fire questions at the end of the interviews make me chortle.

    Great questions, great questioner
I like the mix of guests, and the way Charlotte throws in little questions that give you a peek into who they are as people. Can’t wait to meet the next Person of the Week!

    Disappointed and shallow
This podcast all the assets to be successful but is proving to be a shallow and an agenda driven effort. The interviewer does not know how to ask in-depth questions, but focuses rather on easy and her woke/ liberal agenda rather than probe the understanding of other thoughts and motives. She mocks with a derogatory tone of voice (or even laughs) when mentioning others with different viewpoints. Another example of her shallow ability to interview was in the interview with Wes Mason, an incredibly talented leader. When he twice mentions that if one does not think as he does on a particular issue (that others feel passionately different than he does,) “It is unpatriotic.” A good podcast should be digging into these type of thoughts. This podcast is a validation, feel good, for one half of the population…but making no effort to help others understand.

Time Magazine Person of The Week
The Host Charlotte Alter has great command with these interviews. We get some terrific insight with the guests. I particularly love the last segment questions. Look forward to Thursday when the next installments drop.

    Details matter
Why does The NY Times keep saying Derek Chauvin pressed his knees on George Floyd’s neck for “nearly 8 minutes” when the time was greater than 8 minutes and closer to nearly 9 minutes. It’s frustrating and harkens back to NY Times misreporting of black issues and racist tones in its publications. Only nuisance, otherwise love this program and others from this outlet.

    Bias
Some of their articles are biased. Turns me off.

    Great Podcast!
The narration is great and helps me "read" popular articles on my drive to work each morning. They have a good mixture of politics and other news without being too heavy on one theme or topic.
